"Price increase after price increase, even though UW profits roughly $4 MILLION a year they see fit to double the prices of soda, chips, and food. Employees and patient families pay full price for everything. Also if you have a food allergy forget it, unless you wanna pay $9 for the most bare bones gluten free sandwich, you're going to have to settle for something unhealthy as all the unhealthy food tends to be slightly cheaper and bigger portion sizes. Shame on UW for not understanding that food plays an important roll in healing, whether patient, family, or employee. Of course UW will claim to care about this, as they claim to care about a lot of stuff, but if you follow the money this is not the case. They only care about squeezing the absolute most amount of money out of their patients and employees, similar to employees having to pay full price for parking as well. Just another greedy company that likes to appear very progressive, what a surprise right?"

"The server at the pizza a salad part were very un friendly he seamed upset with having to serve my pizza and salad. The cashier was also very unfriendly didn't say a word when i got I up to pay.no smile nothing"

"I was quite surprised at how little this hospital cafeteria had to offer. Being in a very diverse area, I expected more choices and at least a few healthier options. I have lots of food allergies and usually can find something passable at a hospital's cafeteria when there to be with family but was hard pressed here. The first night 6/19, the air system must not have been working well because whatever the entree was was so overwhelming the whole area with the garlic/onion in the air that I had to breath shallowly, scurry out, and use my inhaler when I left (minus for that). I was able to have their cheeseburger and bun and was happily surprised it had several nice sized slices of ripe tomato and several pieces of crispy lettuce (give them a plus for those) but the meat had a flavor I couldn't place especially since they said it wasn't seasoned (minus for that). Although I was told they had a salad bar there was none to be found. Only a few pre-made salads all of which had an items in them that I was allergic to (double minus). The second night 6/20, I was slightly hopeful I might be able to have the entree salmon but at 6:30pm they were already sold out! Again no salad bar. I left and had my husband doordash me something which should not have been necessary. I don't know how the staff and visitors that need to be at the hospital often survive on the limited & unhealthy menu here. What's even more surprising is my family member's meals from the hospital food service were reported to be pretty good - so is it a different staff - why couldn't visitors have the same variety of choices🤷‍♀️"

"This place has a nice selection of foods to choose from, with changing daily specials, as well as grilled food, sandwiches, fruits, pizza and pasta, and even doughnuts. Overall, I've been happy with my meals here, and they serve generous portions in my opinion. However, the hash browns in my (Sunday) morning breakfast (see photo) could have doubled as building material. I needed to use my knife just to cut off chunks of it, and the taste was pretty much baked mashed potato without seasonings. Granted, I got there at 09:59 (breakfast ends at 10am), so these were probably the last dregs, but definitely avoid the hash browns if they look "solid" in the tray. Next time, I'll go with Tator Tots..."

"Its a hospital cafeteria and it actually has pretty good food for what it is. I go here sometimes just because it is cheap. You can get a lunch here for under 10 dollars."
