"Seattle cafe check☕️vol.4 Victrola coffee roaster (location: Ballard) Coffee: 5/5 (unique flavor: brown sugar and honey) Light: 5/5 (glass windows and natural light) Seating: 5/5 (variety: solo tables + window seats + 4-top + 6-top) Parking: temporary street parking Overall ★★★★★, really like the notes of brown sugar and honey. You can tell this roaster has history and story. Comfy and warm w/ soft music. Good atmosphere to work for a while."

"First time at Victrola! If you re coffee lover this is you re spot!! rich bold flavorful lattes, delicious and freshly baked Pastries, different than what you get in other shops, friendly service! Will definitely go back! One of the few spots I will highly recommend!"

"Ballard coffee works is part of Seattle coffee works. I like the coffee here, strong and just right balance of caffeine and taste. Food options are limited and taste just okay. Tried plain croissants and a strawberry croissant. I stop by here multiple times. There is ample seating throughout the store and though it gets busy you can actually get some work done. Best choice if you’re at the Ballard Farmer’s Market and in need of coffee. The line gets long but service is fast so it moves pretty quickly. The store also has a retail section with various coffee and apparel for sale. Coffee is little pricey but quality speaks! Far better choice to get good coffee here rather than going to Starbucks."

"This place reminds me of what Starbucks must have been like before it was cool. Although it is part of a chain (Seattle Coffee Works), one gets the sense that you could actually sit here and write your screenplay just like everyone at Starbucks dreams of doing. I stopped while cursing the Ballard Farmer’s Market in need of a coffee. I think this place is probably most busy during the Saturday market and, although the line was long, it did move quickly. I just got a cappuccino with skim milk but the baked goods and breakfast sandwich he’s looked fantastic. I get the sense that this is one of the more touristy locations, what with the coffee and apparel for sale. While that doesn’t stop the coffee from being really good, it might make it a bit overpriced. Don’t go to Starbucks in Seattle, go to Coffee Works!"

★★★★★

"I unfortunately had a pretty bad experience in this shop. I went in and waited politely while the customer in front of me chatted with the short pale barista with orange red hair for 15 mins mind you. Anyway so silly of me to think at my turn the worker would be nice to me nope… the smile drops immediately as i walk up and i asked if they still had these loafs and they turned around slowly and rolled their eyes at me and go yea obviously. What the heck? I would never treat another woman this way and it’s heartbreaking to think this coffee shop feels comfortable with that."
