Initially, the owner told her she would reimburse the medical bill, but later reversed that decision and had a lawyer send a response instead. Accidents can happen anywhere, but how a business handles them says a lot. It’s disappointing that what started as a gesture of accountability turned into something so impersonal and defensive. We expected empathy and follow-through, not legal posturing."
