What People Are Saying
from Google"Very cute little coffee shop tucked inside the Davenport Hotel. The vibe? Immaculate. The coffee? Kinda mid. Maybe I caught them at the end of the day, but it felt like the beans had already clocked out. I’ll give it another shot, but first impression? More of a concept store than caffeine haven."
"If you like exploring local coffee shops, Emporium Coffee in Spokane has its ups and downs. The coffee is decent, the seating is comfy, and the staff is friendly. However, prices are a bit high for what you get, and it can feel crowded during peak hours. Still, it’s a relaxed place to get your caffeine fix."
"Came in for breakfast and coffee, and I should’ve been tentative the moment I overheard the staff complaining about their broken fridge and that “everything is broken here.” I was initially excited to try several things, but I was told they only sell some of their baked goods in sets. You can’t just buy a couple to try. The food is basic. It isn’t inedible, but it’s nothing to write home about. My wife said her peanut brittle coffee was good. The huckleberry cinnamon roll, however, wasn’t fluffy. It was thinly rolled dough, and the frosting was probably the only thing carrying it. I wouldn’t come back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to friends or family. The staff had a very “anything else?” attitude, dismissive and uninterested. It was probably the worst experience I’ve had in Spokane so far."
"The Emporium is such a beautiful addition to the historic Davenport Hotel! Great lattes and the huckleberry cinnamon roll and peanut brittle ice cream are top-notch, don’t miss out!"
"The Emporium is a beautifully curated space, with amazing coffee, unique gifts and amazing customer service! Love this Davenport ornament!"
