"This place is usually hoppin' every time I come here to grab a treat and get a bit of remote work done. Lots of people come here to chat with friends, do a bit of work, meet with clients, etc. Despite that I've always found a spot for my solo self to sit down. This is one of my favorite places for matcha, and I typically ask for the maple cardamom matcha. It was a fall special a couple years ago but the baristas have never had a problem making it for me year-round since. So good! Lately, I've been trying to limit my caffeine intake even further due to pregnancy, so I recently tried their carmelized banana houjicha (good, I still like my go-to matcha better), and their beet latte and holy smokes I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT ALL THIS TIME! It is so good. A barista recommended ordering it with white chocolate. 10/10. As far as I'm aware, most coffee shops don't have this drink on their menu, so Indaba is a gem for serving this! They also have reasonable rates for booking their meeting/conference room spaces, which come in clutch for small group gatherings."
