"My visit to this unique local coffee shop was nice each time I had visited. The coffee is delicious, and I especially love the lounge area with the saltwater fish and treasure chest of toys for the kids. It's a relaxing and family-friendly environment. One small suggestion would be to add some background music to give the space a little more ambiance other than that this place is fantastic. The staff are friendly and this place is well worth the visit."

"Went to Kraken with my son and wife on a whim. The atmosphere was cozy and the coffee was fantastic. My son loved the fish tanks - and they even have a octopus! My wife got a decaf coffee and I got a chair tea latte. Both were very tasty. The owners are also know how to take care of their aquariums and were very personable. I highly recommend if you are looking for a cozy spot for a nice coffee and snack."

"This is a hidden gem! Just made our first visit with our kid. The owners are knowledgeable and genuinely appreciate the marine life in their aquariums which were better maintained than ones I've seen in aquarium stores or in Blue Zoo. The blacklight really creates a cool atmosphere and the artwork is actually pretty neat. The coffee is really great too. Definitely give this place a shot. Something so unique and that also provokes wonder for marine animals is special. If my kid wasn't so antsy to get into an aquarium that they were working on, I would have loved to sit and admire the fish while drinking A coffee. I honestly hope they make bank on this place."

"This place opened earlier this year, and unfortunatley we hadn't stopped until today to check it out. The barista was super friendly and told us about all of the drinks. The coffee and lotus blend we got were very tasty. The vibe was great too. My kiddo had fun watching the fish. They even have a small octopus too. Another great thing is that it was nice to pay a NORMAL price for the drinks! It's about half of what you would expect from the bigger presences in Spokane. There is adequate seating, and we had a great time. If you are looking for a new place to try coffee or blended energy drinks, I would highly recommend this place!"

"Absolutely my favorite coffee spot in town! This nook is the definition of family friendly! Their doggo and live aquariums makes this spot MUST when checking out family owned businesses in the area! I have taken my daughter here every weekend. It's become a tradition! If you are looking for a one of a kind, casual atmosphere, add Kraken to your list! And I highly recommend the salty angel is you need any drink recommendations!"
