"In Appleton for a conference. Asked the Appleton Visitor Center for a good place for breakfast and they suggested Acoca. Turned out to be an excellent choice. The place has a nice coffee shop/cafe feel to it. It's spacious, well lit, and has plenty of options for seating. Got a friendly greeting and help with ordering. Ended up deciding on one of the Brussel Sprout Bowls, and the Lox/Egg Croissant. After putting the order in, including drinks, we got a number and waited at the table. The drinks came out in short order, and then the food a little after that. Everything was hot, well seasoned and good portions (I have never had that much Lox on a sandwich!). The Brussel Sprout Bowl had plenty of interesting textures with bacon, and nuts. The eggs were a perfect easy over. (one suggestion, we typically get our Brussel Sprouts a bit more roasted). Definitely a very good choice for breakfast. Would love to come back next time we are in town."
"I met the owner, Bill, at another restaurant and came by to check them out. What a great spot! They have an exceptional selection of coffee from around the world and the food is delicious.
