"What a gem! The Sandbar in Ashland is an absolute delight. Nestled right by the lake, it offers a gorgeous view that pairs perfectly with your coffee or cocktail. We visited on a sunny day and took full advantage of their amazing outdoor seating—it’s the kind of spot you could easily spend hours at. The ambiance is warm and inviting, whether you’re stopping in for a morning coffee, grabbing lunch, or winding down with a drink in the evening. It’s rare to find a place that nails all three, but The Sandbar truly does. We started with their specialty drink (highly recommend—it was delicious) and a spinach and cheese pastry that was flavorful and fresh. I also tried their Old Fashioned, and it was well-balanced and smooth. For food, we went with the YORK sandwich—Italian salami, turkey, and ham—and it was packed with flavor. We also tried a focaccia sandwich with a sausage on the side, and both were excellent. From the friendly service to the quality of food and drinks, we loved everything about this place. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by The Sandbar—you won’t regret it!"
