from Google & Yelp"Food here was wonderful and really yummy! Everything was excellent. Had a soup/salad add on option which I loved and got so much soup which was very flavorful and the dumplings reminded me of my mom's. The atmosphere is quaint and very homey. You can tell the locals and staff are like family and this is a beautiful place to enjoy. Recommend for a good meal and relaxing/fun atmosphere."
"While in town for Pulaski Polka days, we stopped in for breakfast. Our first time here. The waitresses were both very friendly, our food came out fresh and hot. The pancakes were made great, with a little crisp around the edges, and fluffy. Both omelettes were great. The only thing we would change next time would be to remove the cheese on top, because it was inside also. We had peeled the cheese off the top. The omelettes were made with fresh ingredients inside but the sliced cheese inside and on top kinda cheapened it. Should have used fresh shredded cheese and that would have made it top notch. Definitely recommend them. Would go back."
"I wanted a breakfast buffet, but it wasn’t a Sunday when most places have one. This place for the bill. I went with my 17 yo son. We waited for a bit to be greeted and sat down. He ordered choc chip pancakes and hashbrowns. I got the breakfast buffet. I was happy to get a variety of foods. Food tasted good. I especially liked the churro fries. Waitress forgot to bring out syrup, not sure why they don’t just keep it on the tables during breakfast. There’s also some items for sale near the register. It is a small space and they could do without those to add some room for people waiting to get a table. The menu has a lot of choices and there are monthly specials."
"Ew! The salad was wilting. The soup was edible. The tuna melt was pretty good but I couldn't even eat it. Once she brought my SO's pork barbeque ribs I suddenly wasn't hungry at all. Seriously the cook should be embarrassed that he even plated such slop, let alone allow it to be placed in front of a customer! The BBQ pork was so full of nasty greasy blubber we could hear a whale crying in the distance. It looked like what you would find at the bottom of a can of expired dog food. The worst thing I've ever seen in a restaurant. Anyway, the chips were stale, and the baked potato was almost as dry as the bun."
"Very small portions, we left hungry and went to Blackstone. Expensive for portion size. Ordered an omelet and a skillet. Here’s is a picture from Blackstone this is what breakfast should look like!! Best thing about Hometown was the hostess at the front door ! Very well dressed and personable."
"One of my favorite places I would highly recommend it for breakfast lunch and dinner are great too but from their giant pancakes and omelets."
