What People Are Saying
from Google"Sad how things have gone down hill over the years. Used to be a great spot to eat, friendly staff, good prices. Haven't been here in around 2 years, and most definitely won't be back. This review is from our visit on 10/26/2025 Family got here around 2pm, immediately noticed the tacky, giant "gambling" machines. Half the pies in their display are from either Costco or Sam's Club. They just pulled the price tags off of the containers We were seated pretty quickly in booth, and they had a TV on the other side with a football game on. My youngest son is autistic, and loves football, so he was trying to see the game. I asked the young lady who seated us if it would be possible to move to the booth on the other side of the glass partitioned wall, so my son can see the game. She said it wasn't a problem. As soon as we were seated, I heard a server who was wrapping silverware at the bar, who turned out to be our server, ask her "why are they seated in my area?" with a snarky tone. She sits for a few more minutes, then gets up and comes to the booth. Mind you, were no more than 20 feet behind her. Sarah was cold, rude, and definitely had the "I don't want to be here" vibe. My autistic son had finished his fries, and politely asked her "excuse me? Can I please get a refill on my fries?". She snapped back immediately with "uh, we don't refill fries. If you want more, you have to pay for it" with one of the most disrespectful tones I've heard towards a 12 year old. I immediately turned around, while my wife grabbed my arm, knowing I was about to make a scene. I told her to get him his order and put it on my bill. And yes, when I said that, it was in a rude, harsh tone. After all of that, she then comes over with the bill, just tosses it on the table and walks away. I get that people have bad days, but when you're primary income is tips, maybe you should attempt to act nice. After this, I can say with absolute honesty that we will never be back at a Julie's Cafe. The level of attitude and disrespect that Sarah showed towards my family is inexcusable."
"Julie's Cafe is a fantastic spot for a Sunday morning breakfast with a great selection of reasonably priced dishes. I especially appreciated the traditional menudo, which was absolutely delicious, and the chorizo was fantastic too. A warm, inviting place that delivers on flavor and value!"
"If you haven't been to Julie's Cafe in Green Bay, you're missing out! I got the steak and eggs ($12 for an actual steak, not chopped steak)to go and it was ready in 10 minutes and cooked perfectly. Julie's is a staple for us when we want delicious food, done quickly, at a very reasonable cost. Their pressure fried chicken is also amazing."
"My wife and I tried this café for breakfast, largely based on Google reviews. As a Packers season ticket holder, this is my new go-to for noon games! On back to back days, both Shay and Eva were awesome waitresses, always finding time for chit-chat and making sure things were good. The breakfasts were filling and delicious! We tried the omelet (no pic), skillet, and the farmers country breakfast. Most breakfasts come with either toast, mini-pancakes or a muffin and I'm here to say the muffins are phenomenal! Example is the blueberry one: homemade and loaded with blueberries! Our waitress wrapped ours on the second trip, knowing we wouldn't finish and she was right! Very filling. Atmosphere is that of a diner: always busy and a lot of regulars"
"I went here for breakfast. I had the strawberry French Toast. It was good. I also had a side of bacon, a little disappointed in the size of the side of bacon. I had hash browns and they were really good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place has a diner feel to it. I would return if back in the area. Bicycling: The road was just okay for cycling. They also don't have an outdoor area for eating."
