What People Are Saying
from Google"12/1/25 I'm a truck driver from NC. My delivery was less than 5mi away and a driver suggested that I'd try the plaza. Despite the snow and time I arrived i did find parking. Evening shift employees were all in good spirits and the shelves were fully stocked. Restrooms clean also. Next morning was the same. What made the employees stand out? Was their attitudes. Sometimes the bad weather brings out the bad attitudes. I commend them for being in good spirits. I will definitely stop here again."
"The cashiers for the diesel pump are not very helpful. The right pump is for off-road, middle pump is highway, left obviously def. The pump design is unusual. If you are not used to this pump configuration, or you are multitasking while they are speaking with, and you go back inside for help, they will be extremely condescending and repeat the same thing as before to you. Perhaps someone familiar with trucking and manners could advise them about explaining how to pump. Prices may be cheaper, but lack of hospitality and knowledge may drive truckers away. Thank you."
"The lady by the name of Angela is never in a good mood every time I bring by truck to diseal. This place needs to educate people on customer service."
"ZERO STARS!!! If I could leave 0 stars I would. My young child & I were traveling through Kenosha when I had car troubles (cannot drive my car over 40 MPH).. It was the weekend, & I couldn't get into a local shop until Tuesday (Tomorrow), so I googled places that offer overnight parking since Im stuck in the area for awhile, & Kenosha Travel Plaza was our best bet. We only used their DESIGNATED area for CARS to park, and we only parked there at NIGHT. We were NOT there at all during the days throughout the weekend. I mean cmon'.. I have a 9yr old boy with me who would prefer a park or beach over a parking lot. We didnt LOITER, We purchased gas, food & showers (which are $14.99 mind you) and we didnt make ANY kind of disturbance the couple nights we used the parking lot. You'd think it wouldnt be an issue right?... WRONG. Here's the kicker- This morning at 5 am a Subway employee who drives a white jeep was loudly yelling profanities outside of my vehicle about the parking spots being for "managers only"(there were no signs implying this) An hour later a BP employee named Angela and another female BP employee were aggressively banging on my car windows and rudely telling us we had to leave! Accused us of being there "a lengthy amount of time"- verbatim. Before I could even explain my car trouble situation, or explain to her we were NOT even there during the day she walked away. Let me reiterate: We were NOT staying in their parking lot all day and all night whatsoever. Wal-Marts in Kenosha don't allow overnight parking, so what am I supposed to do in my situation? I did my research and I didn't bother anyone when I came to park with my child to sleep! **Note: there are NO SIGNS prohibiting over night parking, there were multiple other people parking there at night the same nights we were there, GOOGLE SAYS I can park there, we were paying customers, & we literally did NOTHING wrong. Not sure where my child and I will go tonight considering city ordinances, but my car won't be fixed until tomorrow & I'm pretty sure what staff said & did was incorrect. At a minimum it was morally diabolical, ruthless, & just cold hearted. ZERO STARS!!!"
"Wasnt there long. The inside is clean and efficient. Showers are a little pricey though. Overall I have to leave 1 star because there is an employee I believe to be named Angela who was not friendly at all. I don't want to believe it was just me because I am a man of darker complexion, however I observed her demeanor being quite friendly towards multiple white people, versus myself. People of color KNOW when racism is active & present. It's 2025, shame on her."
