"What a pleasant surprise. From the moment we stepped inside we lived the experience. We received a warm welcome in a very nice spacious and well designed space with original Nepalese artwork. The spicy beef starter was likely the best I have had in years. And all 3 mail courses, lamb chop, lamb stew and curry were exceptional. All flavors were created by some one who really knows their food and could easily be a Michelin star. Only for a fraction of the price. Thank you and we will make this place our go to whenever in Madison Such a good experience."

"We checked out Ama Kitchen after some friends hyped it up, and it did not disappoint. Our server, Logan, was super friendly and even pointed out a few menu items we probably would’ve missed. Everything he suggested was great, but the kabobs? Absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend!"

"Absolutely delicious! My group had the lamb palungo, broiled salmon, samosas, and some other menu items. The food was fresh, tender, and flavorful. The service was fast, attentive, and hospitable. I can’t wait to come back and try some of their desserts."

"We had an excellent Sunday brunch at Ama. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. We ordered the dosa available at that time of day on the menu, but we were hoping for just plain dosa with some chutney. We'd like to try the dinner menu in the future. We also prefer more spice, but understand that's not always a preference for all patrons. I'd love to see more spicy options! The building was beautifully decorated and we loved the atmosphere. If we lived in the area, we would definitely frequent this place!"

"We had a great time at Ama! We tried two appetizers (all 3 types of momos they had that night + haku chwela), all of which were amazing. My partner ordered the lamb kebab, and I got the chicken tikka dish. His lamb was perfectly cooked, and my chicken was fall-apart tender. The sauces and veggies on the plates were delicious and fresh. For dessert, we split a slice of carrot cake, but the almond cake they had on the menu sounded really good (unfortunately they were out). The decor inside is modern and up market; it's physically a very nice space. I've been longing for higher end dining options from India/Pakistan/Nepal in town, and I'm very excited to see a place like this establish itself! It's a little recessed from the road which makes it sort of hard to find. That is the only criticism I can muster."
