"The cauliflower tacos, crisp and fully cooked cauliflower. Best cauliflower taco I have ever had. The soft flour tortillas tasted freshly made. All the ingredients in the taco were fresh. Chicken al pastor tacos tasted authentic and full of flavor. Carnitas tacos were another favorite. Free appetizer that has the texture of a funyons with spices was delicious. The sangria, frozen margarita with perfectly blended. 1/2 price happy hour on Tacos. 1/2 drinks."

"We had the restaurant week menu, great deal, lots of food. To our surprise Potato taco was AMAZING, crispy and tasty , chicken pastor was perfectly w/ the pineapple, carnitas taco was a bit fatty, but amazing flavor! The enchiladas were delicious. Flan was soooo yummy! 🍮"

"Canteen was a very charming little place! Indoor and outside seating within view of the capitol building. I was on a business trip and walked there from my hotel for a solo dinner. I had the shrimp diablo tacos with sides of beans and rice. Very good flavors, and great service. Highly recommend if you need a quiet but tasty place to stop in between busy schedules."

"Stumbled across this restaurant while searching for burritos. In full transparency, I went into it with a bit of a negative bias due to them being a part of FF group, but every single one of those feelings disappeared immediately upon entry to the restaurant. We visited on a Monday afternoon and took advantage of their generous and fantastic happy hour. Half price tacos? $3 Tecate? Yes and yes! We were seated and immediately provided with their delicious pinwheels. Holy cats - chicharones with a hint of lime and Tajin… you can’t go wrong. An order of queso came out next, along with some fresh chips. This queso is pure crack, folks. I wish I could put it on everything. Steak tacos were very good, with just a hint of heat. And this will sound like an odd complaint, but they were actually too full. 😂 I couldn’t fold it neatly and bite into it without looking like a starved bear… Quesabirria tacos were insanely good as well - the crispy cheese shell was perfectly salty and complimented the tender beef. Everything arrived in perfect timing and the service was stellar. Absolutely amazing late lunch on every single level. Kudos Canteen!!"
