"This is an absolutely wonderful tucked away lounge! Really gives that speakeasy feeling. I love that there are fun little table games to play and the staff is as friendly as you want them to be! They are also very knowledgeable on kava, they usually have two brewed strains, with a few hidden options that are a little more concentrated. Protip: A lot of people say they don't feel kava when they drink it. Order a pitcher and plow thru it as fast as you can. You'll feel it ;-). Also, the flavorings can really help cut the bitterness even in a traditional shell!"

Lots of kava options, including kava NA cocktails, to-go pouches and flavored teas for enjoying while lounge. Also has full coffee/espresso service. BEST thing about Rooted is that it's open late for a coffee shop (9pm+), which is rare for a non-alcohol spot. Great place to kickit and chill rather than getting turned up at a bar or similar."

"So mellow, and great for working! They have great WiFi and nice gluten free treats along with regular bakery. I had a latte rather than kava, but it was a tasty, pretty latte! They have a lot of board games too, and the coolest cribbage board I've ever laid eyes on! Also some kinda elevated shuffle-board thing that looks fun."
