What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Ok so im thinking this one is a maybe return place. The pros: Drip coffee was fine… Space was interesting and unique Staff was friendly The Cons: The didn’t have a mug to serve the drink in after request. Cappuccino was bussing HOT! Like hotter than it should-be if you’re doing it properly. And it was way too milky. If i liked boiling coffee with milk, I would like what I received (that is to say the espresso was weak in the way they prepared it). No art in a paper cup is no fun. Pastry selection seemed to be just pre packaged from my view. Im guessing this place appeals to a different audience who prefer coffee creations with wild flavor combinations. But when trying the industry’s basics, I was not impressed. Although I can only speak to the two drinks I ordered."
"Very good coffee. They don’t have fresh baked goods, but the warmed up packaged croissants was still good. The place has a ramp to get inside so it’s wheelchair accessible. However, the bathroom is downstairs which was a bummer. The service was awesome! Very kind sweet people working there."
"I order from here roughly 2-3 times a week. Walking into this coffee shop feels like stepping into something truly special. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making every visit feel personal and inviting. The atmosphere is unlike anywhere else—set inside a small church, it’s cozy, peaceful, and full of character. They offer curbside pick up as well. The clover app is easy to scroll through and place your order. It allows me to grab a coffee in little to no time. What really impressed me is the thoughtful menu. They offer plenty of sugar free options for my wife who happens to be diabetic. Of course, the coffee itself is outstanding—rich, smooth, and crafted with care. Every cup feels like it was made just for you. This place has quickly become one of my favorites. Between the friendly faces, the unique setting, and the amazing coffee, it’s a gem worth visiting again and again."
"My husband and I stopped while passing through the area after a week of camping. Jen was so friendly and her church coffee shop is beautiful. The espresso was the best we have had in a long time. Great spot, great location. We look forward to passing through again!"
"Driving by I noticed the sign “A Place for Coffee” as I realized my cup was empty. I only hesitated for a second before turning around. I’m sure glad I did! After parking in the shade and walking up a rustic handicapped accessible ramp, I reached a door and thought what a unique place this is! After opening the door I walked in to a wide open room that smelled amazing! The baristas greeted me and I made the comment, “This is A Place for Coffee, then this is the place for me!” I was offered a sample of French Roast coffee (black) and after the first sip, I knew this was it! The coffee was delicious and would fuel me on my drive back to The Fox Valley! I sat down for a minute to take in the atmosphere then went downstairs to use the restroom which was clean and stocked. The work done here to renovate an old church to a coffee house was amazing and I feel blessed that I crossed paths with this place today! If you love coffee, this is a must stop for you!!"
"I was blown away the second I walked in this place. Such a warm, inviting atmosphere. The women were so friendly and were able to meet my picky requests!..."
