What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Love, love, love. We were at the 135 East National Ave., Milwaukee, WI location. Great little place. I love the MCM wallpaper and subtle vibe. Plan your stop though as the lines can be way out the door. We both had a bacon, egg bagels with coffee so robust, it might knock your socks off! Now seriously, please try the Fried Orange Sugar Bagel with the smear. OMGOSH! What a great bagel and not too sweet. It was subtly sweet and the flavor was outstanding. Never had anything like it before. I also overheard a few customers talking about the Bubbe's Matzoh Ball Soup and how great it was. Will try next time. Next time? Why yes! We love this place and hope you do too."
"ORDER ONLINE AHEAD OF TIME ON WEEKENDS. I understand why this place is so busy, their food is amazing! However, we waited outside in a line for about 20 minutes and waited another 20 for our 2 bagels. Highly worth it though!"
"I’m in town visiting and got an egg and cheese Zatar bagel. I’m pretty upset though. I can’t get bagels this good where I live and will have to ration my bakers dozen, which will NOT be easy. Will absolutely be back if I’m ever in Milwaukee again. The staff were incredible and the coffee was genuinely as good as the bagels."
"My husband and I came here on a day their AC was out and it was a bajillion degrees outside, so there was no inside service. We ordered with the server in a tent outside and waited for our food in the patio. We decided to eat in our car only because it was super hot outside, but that is not fault of the restaurant's. Our food came out quick, and the servers were hustling. I'm appreciative of the team that was hustling inside without AC. It was like 93, with a "feels like" of 104 degrees. I had The Classic which is lox, on an Everything bagel. Good, but nothing ground breaking and as another person said I wish the bagel was toasted. I did have to fight the bagel a bit which made the cream cheese and lox messy as I chewed through. I also ordered the Strawberry Crunch Coffee Cake because the server recommended it, and I was envisioning those Strawberry Crunch ice cream bars from childhood, but in coffee cake form. I know that's what they were going for, but it was a let down. Needed less cake, more crunch. Husband had the whitefish salad sando on pumpernickel bagel and he said it was really good, but wished there was more dilled shallots. Price is what I expect for fish and fresh bakery items. Free street parking and a paid parking lot right across the street that likely isn't necessary."
"Got some classic lox bagels for brunch and they were pretty good. Wish the bagels were toasted. The line was a pretty long wait so would recommend ordering beforehand and just picking up. The seating also gets full so try to go early."
"Finally made it to Allie Boy's! There was a line out the door but it moved quickly. I was impressed with how chill and friendly all of the staff were on a..."
