What People Are Saying
from Google"We got married in June 2025 and had the best experience possible! Wedding planning was so smooth and almost completely stress-free with Erica's help. All of our family and friends said that Anodyne was one of the coolest wedding venues they had ever been to, and many said that the event was so organized that it set a new bar for weddings! On top of it all, the price couldn't be beat. If you're thinking about booking Anodyne for your wedding, don't think twice - just go for it!"
"While most famous for its delicious coffee, Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co., nestled in Walker's Point, also deserves its flowers for being a fantastic wedding venue! With its iconic Milwaukee cream city brick, this converted warehouse strikes the perfect balance between industrial character and modern warmth, where rich wood tones meet cool Milwaukee industrial vibes. As a venue, Anodyne offers an inviting, realized space that's become known throughout Milwaukee for its distinctive charm. The roastery creates an ideal atmosphere for mingling, dancing, and feasting, making it a wonderful place to host weddings and special events. As a wedding photographer, my first take on a space is always what it offers for photography - and everything about Anodyne's vibes are incredible - Cream city brick inside and out, warm edison bulbs and wood beams, iconic printed sign on the outside, Walker's point alley's and Ivy walls, and great views of the sunset all make it a dream for couple portraits and candids. The venue coordinator, Erica, is fantastic to work with, ensuring events flow seamlessly throughout the warm ambiance of the building's wood and brick elements. For photographers and aesthetes alike, the surrounding area offers picturesque ivy walls and that famous cream city brick that captures Milwaukee's architectural heritage. For couples seeking a venue with character, Anodyne Coffee Roasters delivers a perfect blend of industrial-chic style and inviting atmosphere—an ideal backdrop for intimate ceremonies and lively celebrations."
"Erica and her incredible team brought our Carnival of Love wedding to life in downtown Walker’s Point, and we couldn’t be happier! We never imagined we’d fit a fun slide, a nut vendor, and carnival games all on one block—let alone have a real tattoo artist, multiple caricature artists, and a magician entertaining guests inside—but they made it happen seamlessly. From start to finish, Erica was a joy to work with. She’s professional, enthusiastic, great at follow-ups, and truly invested in making your vision a reality. She was just as excited about our big day as we were and contributed amazing ideas to ensure everything was perfect. As coffee lovers, we were thrilled to serve high-quality coffee all night alongside an assortment of beer and wine. We also catered food from Beans & Barley, which our guests absolutely raved about! If you’re looking for a unique, well-executed, and unforgettable wedding experience, we highly recommend Anodyne!"
"First time at this coffee shop. I was surprised by how big it was inside. Plently of places to sit, with a combination of very long wood tables, and some smaller tables for 2-4 people. The south side windows bring in plenty of natural light. This morning, there were only several other small groups and the noise level was good. (Wonder what it would be like if it were full?) Got greeted by a friendly Barista. The counter is very long. Ordered a London Fog, and a Mocha Scone. Got it in a real china mug and a plate for the scone (real coffee shops and real plates :). The London Fog was very good, although the flavor was different (Floral? should have asked if they used Earl Grey or something else). This particular location is also a venue for music, wedding and other large group functions. Nice way to leverage a larger space with interesting character. Definitely a place I would return to."
"We couldn't have imagined a more perfect venue for our special day. Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. was the ideal blend of industrial chic and cozy charm. The beautiful, historic space was the perfect backdrop for our intimate wedding of about 90 guests. Erica, our venue coordinator, was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Her attention to detail and professionalism made the entire planning process stress-free. Other vendors we hired like our coordinator definitely agreed. The Anodyne team was fantastic to work with. The space itself is stunning, requiring minimal decor to transform into a magical setting. We loved the vintage aesthetic and the delicious coffee, of course! We highly recommend Anodyne to any couple seeking a unique, affordable, and LGBTQ+ friendly venue. It was truly a dream come true."
