What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"My favorite Greek restaurant in the area since Kosta's White Manor closed down (and they were more like Greek fine dining). The gyros are the best, not toppled on top of the pita, rather placed on the side. You do get one cube of Feta vs. having to purchase on the side. Their Avgelemono Soup tastes homemade. The Souvlaki, Dolmathes and hummus are all delicious. You literally cannot go wrong with anything in the menu which I don't unfortunately try more of because their gyros are so good. Will eventually try one of their burgers. It's also a nice place to catch Giannis throwing down dunks while eating and having a brew. Staff are always very nice. A staple lunch and late night on Brady St. for 25 years."
"I don’t know why everyone else had such a good time at this place, but I didn’t. I know every restaurant has off days, but dog! Today must be the day from heck. I ordered via uber eats. They sent me the driest dang gyro meat I’ve ever had. The veg was old. The stuffed grape leaf was DRY and they charged $3 for one small leaf. I could have bought a whole jar! and y’all know that’s a dish served MOIST every time! The pita bread was soggy, but also was very heavy on the pit char. Just black dusty crumbs all over the bread. The hummus - why the heck did they send me some soupy hummus with no triangles to eat with it. The “rice pilaf” was plain OLD rice that they had nerve to cover in flipping gravy like I wouldn’t know any better. These people tried to kill me today. They literally sent me the leftovers from before the holidays and thought I wouldn’t notice. I don’t know why I keep letting Uber Eats play in my face. This was supposed to be a “top eat.” Now a bad day is a bad day, but shoot I don’t know what the heck this is. The pictures don’t show very well the detail on that dry meat like I want it to show y’all but it was DRY and old. If you try this place “I pray you catch em” on the up and up. I sure as heck am out of $31."
"This place serves up generously-portioned food with fresh ingredients and tasty spices like fennel and lemon. Smiling, friendly staff plus a beautifully landscaped patio gives this place a lot of charm. We'll definitely come back for another yummy meal."
"Food is cooked perfectly but portions are super small. Then they expect you to pay a tip for takeout. If they weren't so greedy I'd give them a a solid rating. The food is really really good it's just way too small. I don't like feeling like I'm ripped off and hungry afterwards."
"Absolutely amazing lunch! Very good food; refreshing and healthy, too! Great customer service with a great view of Brady Street. Apollo Café is a great place for socializing and side walk seating, and this location is perfect for 'people watching' while you eat. By far the best greek restaurant on Brady Street!"
"Food was OK. Parking was different due to having to plug the meter. Dined here previously most likely will not return. Best was free refills on my lemonade."
