from Google"The food was amazing!! And our server Kristy (sp?) was so attentive - the bar crushed fresh cranberries to make cran juice for my selzer and she switched out the silverware for clean ones between courses- class act all around. And the food was incredible!!! Def recommend the bisque, the Copper River salmon ala Oscar - the fish was cooked to perfection which is hard to nail! And the chicken marsala w/ spaetzle with those crimini mushrooms. My stomach is growling thinking about it. Don't skip dessert or the N/A hot toddy. Will def be back before they close in Feb! Super fun spot! Driving to get there is a trip, too."
"This was an excellent culinary delight at this pop-up Supper Club in Barnacle Bud’s. Seating was limited (32 guests)in this small dining area, but great because it was not noisy for conversation while dining. The cocktails were very tasty. The menu was small traditional supper club favorites and chef prepared our choices to perfection; best meal We’ve had in a long time. At first glance, the prices seemed high, however from our perspective it was worth the value. Our server, Kristy, was great and explained the specials and menu choices perfectly. Don’t miss an opportunity for a great dinner!!! FYI- if you’ve been to Barnacle Buds you know that parking is a bit of a walk and with the recent snow storm you need to be careful making your way to the restaurant!"
"We had a wonderful time at this place. Christy, our server, was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the salmon and the chicken marsala. Both were outstanding. Don't miss the roasted potatoes. Atmosphere is cozy and unique but when the place filled up it was very noisy. Still, very much fun and well worth it."
"Seasonal pop-up that turns a local riverfront fave, into a quaint little Wisconsin style supper club. (Maybe 8-10 tables). Starting with a brandy old fashioned, of course, this experience was excellent from the get-go. The appetizer of lobster/crab cakes was my new all-time favorite. On a bed of arugula and with a little lemon aioli sauce, these can be shared by 4 guests. (Half of a cake per). Each entree comes with soup or salad. The soup was crab and lobster bisque. Only drawback for me was the cumin forward taste. We ordered the New york strip aged 28 days with an Oscar style add-on. This Oscar was full of large chunk crab. Totally worth the upgrade. The duroc pork chop with scallops add-on was perfect. I'm sure it was not our excellent choices that made our night great. I know everything on the menu would have been just as good as ours was. Finish with an ice cream drink, and our bill was not small, but my memories won't be either. Full disclosure, after 3 old fashions, two glasses of wine, and the ice cream drink, our bill was $300 after tip. Would do it all again tomorrow if we could."
"Our server (Kristy) was FANTASTIC. Even though it was packed, she always made time to chat with us, offer suggestions and keep us company. Staff is always 10/10 here and the food couldn’t have been better. Definitely exceeded our expectations :)"
