What People Are Saying
from Google"November 2025: I went to Cafe Corazon in Riverwest with three family members to celebrate a birthday. Two of the family members are ADA. When we arrived, we were welcomed by staff and seated at a lovely booth at the back of the restaurant near the restroom, which was perfect. There was enough space for us all and the location was what we preferred. Very accommodating. Our waitress was wonderful and friendly! I believe her name was Selene. She provided exceptional customer service. For lunch, I ordered the avocado salad with chicken and it was amazing! Fresh, quality ingredients, filling, and I liked the seasoning on the chicken. My family ordered the steak tacos, both Mexican and American style, and the breakfast tacos on the brunch menu. We all loved our food! To end the lunch, we had their homemade Tres Leches Cake topped with toasted coconut. It tasted like it came right out of some Abuela's kitchen. It was so good!"
"Prepare to be blown away. Fresh ingredients, wonderful service, and a very beautiful outdoor seating area. We enjoyed our meal from start to finish. Especially impressed by the vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. Flavorful and creative food, for sure! Also a huge fan of the happy hour deals. Will definitely go back when we're in town next! Thanks especially to our server, Dassie!"
"Nachos This starter consisted of corn tortilla chips smothered in queso sauce with choice of beans, topped with red salsa, lime cilantro crema, cilantro, and avocado. Protein options were ground beef, steak, chicken, chorizo, carnitas, pork bibil, shrimp and salmon. Vegan and vegetarian options were also available. I chose the steak. The chip to topping ratio was balanced. The portion size was enough for 1 adult. The pricing was reasonable for portion for the portion size. Overall, I enjoyed this starter. I liked the lime cilantro crema. I would order this starter again."
"Spent $30 on a breakfast burrito and one French toast. Included a side of guacamole and tip. I was trying to avoid spending $25 at my favorite weekend buffet. I won't be avoiding that anymore, as I have yet to regret that bill. I had a wet burrito with mole. $17. I asked for carne Asada and didn't taste any meat at all. At one point I started smashing through the black beans to see if any were meat. The couple of diced pieces I pulled out confirmed some meat was present, but not enough to taste or add to the meal. The bottom of the burrito was crunchy. I'm not sure why. Interesting flavors but not worth it at this price point and being almost meatless. Nice atmosphere and space though."
"The environment was pretty unique. Loved the Mexican aesthetic a lot. However the food was not seasoned that well. The rice, beans, and carnitas barely had flavor. We had to request hot sauce to add to the torta to give it more flavor. They didn’t have salt or pepper at the table to adjust the rest to our liking. Some pros were that the veggies were nice and fresh and the meat was cooked well and not over cooked. Other than that, it was an okay place. They offer vegan options as well which is a plus for them."
