What People Are Saying
from Google"Honey Bee Sage was one of the places I discovered while intentionally exploring Milwaukee over the last 7 months. Even though yesterday was cold and snowy, my son and I decided to make a day of it—finding cafés and spaces that offer more than just food, but an experience. Honey Bee Sage was one of our stops, and I can honestly say it ended up being better than expected. When you first walk in, it presents as a café specializing in herbal teas. The space is inviting and thoughtfully laid out. Toward the center of the café, there are items available for purchase—loose-leaf teas, tea-making supplies, crystals, sea moss, and other wellness-focused products. It feels like a blend of café and apothecary, which I really appreciated. I was browsing the sea moss, which didn’t have a price listed, when a young lady approached to ask if I needed help. There wasn’t a smile or warm greeting, but assistance was offered nonetheless. Normally, interactions like that would make me reconsider spending my money, but I paused and chose grace—thinking that even in healing spaces, people can still be having off days or may not be aware of how their energy transfers to others. I went ahead and purchased the sea moss and asked about their teas and what customers typically enjoy. Afterward, my son and I sat down, talked, and enjoyed our tea. The teas were good, and I really liked the presentation—simple, intentional, and calming. Later, I realized I also needed white willow bark, so I went back toward the back of the café/store where I made my first purchase. This time, I was helped by another young lady who was warm, smiling, and genuinely eager to assist—even patiently helping when I entered my phone number incorrectly. That interaction balanced the earlier one and reminded me how much energy matters in spaces like this. Overall, Honey Bee Sage has a chill, relaxed vibe and offers quality teas and wellness items. Despite the mixed service experience, I’d return—and I appreciate what this space brings to Milwaukee’s café and holistic scene. Good tea, thoughtful presentation, and a calming atmosphere—with room for more consistent customer warmth."
"This is a wonderful cafe to spend some time and grab a beautiful cup of carefully crafted tea, or a non-alcoholic beverage. They have a well stocked non-alcoholic bar, a whole wall of loose herbs (everything from turmeric to marshmallow root to fenugreek), and a selection of locally made beauty products (soaps, lotions etc). Stop by if you're looking to stock up on teas/herbs for home, or a beautiful third space to spend some time with a great drink."
"We can’t gush enough about this place! We had a friend visiting from out of town that is a tea drinker and very much into taking care of herself holistically… she was in love with this charming place. There is so much to take in, give yourself time to check out all they have. Great place to meet friends for a visit. Cozy seating, lots of individual tables, counter seating, and several soft seating areas near the front windows with great sunlight streaming in. You can pick up local honey from the cold case. Shop for wellness items, apothecary items, little gifts for yourself or a friend. Lots of treasures to be found here! Wealth of knowledge! And check out the message board in back for community happenings and info. So warm and inviting. The decor is beautiful - we arrived right as they opened on a Saturday morning and within 15 minutes it was bustling. Even so, the young woman behind the counter was incredibly warm and accommodating. Explained everything we asked about, gave great suggestions. We ordered hot herbal tea and also iced strawberry immunity tea (delicious, can’t wait to go back again for it!), found a seat and she brought it to us. Easy to find street parking. I tried to take a variety of photos to show the vast amount of items they offer , as well as the really cool cafe space. You could easily spend hours here! We can’t wait to go back! (Check out the gorgeous mural on the outside of the building)"
"I just left dead bird brewing and was ready for lunch, the honeybee looked quite intriguing. So I decided to stop. What a lovely find for teas, fragrances soaps jewelry and much more. I was hoping for a larger lunch. Menu, but did settle on the vegan chili and the IG tea with a bit of honey. Everything was delicious. The service was very friendly and accommodating. I also bought a jar of the OG Sea Moss gel, can't wait to try that at home. I enjoyed the beautiful small tables with flowers and the atmosphere as a whole. We need one of these beautiful tea rooms in Waukesha!"
"A friend recommended we check this place out, and I am thrilled she did. Great atmosphere, very clean, nice retail section. The interior is cute, service was great. The drink we had was DELICIOUS! It was the seltzer with pineapple and mango and we will most certainly be back for it."
