"I found this Mi Casa Su Cafe by accident today and it was incredible. I got the catfish and grits and my friend got the jerk chicken and rice. Both of our meals had amazing flavor and were nice and hot (temperature). The catfish and grits is one of my favorite meals now! We also got the lemonade and cherry slushi which was one of the best slushies I’ve ever had — it was so sweet and flavorful. The service was wonderful, our waitress was lovely and a manager even came over to make sure we were doing well. Both were such friendly people. The atmosphere and decorations in the restaurant were really cool as well. I will absolutely be coming back, this is now one of my favorite restaurants in Milwaukee!"

"Wow! I had the chicken and waffles that was WELL worth the wait. We arrived early and that's the only reason we had our food in a timely manner, about a 35-40 minute wait. The restaurant became extremely busy but all of the staff were kind and courteous, but busy. I'm excited to go back, and I hope the service will improve in time because the food, the outdoor patio and location are absolutely perfect."

"I’m so disappointed in my experience, especially since I’ve heard so many good things about this place. My sister ordered our food and waited over an hour for it. She was already waiting a while, then they gave her the wrong order so she had to wait longer. Our fries were soggy. We had to air fry them at home.The “garlic bread” was literally just a piece of buttered toast. And my Cajun chicken Alfredo pasta was just regular Alfredo. I don’t know if they even put Cajun seasoning in it. They put a couple dices of tomatoes and a few leaves of barely cooked spinach. Lastly the jerk burrito wasn’t the best. Overall, just a poor experience. I’m not sure I’d go back 😔"

"I wish I had taken pictures of the amazing food. I needed something lighter, but filling. And the coquettes were PERFECT. I even saved one for later. We tried the fried okra too. Everything was amazing and the service was spectacular. All the staff were really nice and if you have the chance don’t miss out on their cake!!! 💞✨💐"

"Great little cafe with interesting food choices. I had the shrimp and grits and it was awesome. 04-07-2024. Stopped in again for brunch on a Sunday around 1130. The service was slow and they seemed somewhat overwhelmed. Definitely seemed to prioritize take out orders over the folks attempting to dine in. I waited about an hour for my food to make it to the table. I had the Salmon Croquettes which tasted more like tuna than salmon. I was a tad disappointed in that experience. Overall, my experience has been hit and miss here."
