"This spot seems really special, but like maybe they are still getting their footing, and I can’t wait to return and see how the food and experience continues to evolve! We shared four plates + a dessert. The tikka masala gnocchi was absolutely perfect (!!!!) in taste, textures, and everything and I would run back just for that. Everything else (salad, madeira mushrooms, tofu shakshuka) seemed a tiny bit one dimensional and like something was missing from the flavor. The service was a bit uneven and confused, with different people bringing occasionally the wrong dish to our table and sporadic timing between plates. The prices seem a bit high, but it makes sense once you remember that tax and tip are all included (we still tipped on top, but it’s stated that that’s not expected). Overall it seems like they are doing great things with the space and really exciting work with the food and I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone."

"Mother's is designed to have small plates that are shared. The food had unique flavor combinations but I found that the service and portion size did not seem to match the prices. Expect entree priced items, but tapas sized plates. Also, not sure if they were just busy, but the waiter only really visited our table twice to get water and our order. Probably won't be going back."

"Amazing experience at Mother’s! The chef is a magician with flavors and textures.. the food was creative and outstanding. Drinks and sake were excellent, and our servers gave wonderful attentive service. Loved the thoughtful touch of serving the ice cream from our to-go carrot cake so we wouldn’t miss out. Dining in the garden was lovely. Can’t wait to return!"

"Don’t wait to try Mother’s! I can’t say enough good things about Mother’s! It’s a great date night place, but equally fun to come with a group. The tapas/sharing plate style allowed me to try almost as many of the menu items as I wanted (I’ll be coming back for the pork shoulder and the snapper!). We got the jerk lamb dumplings to start. They were perfectly fried and the flavor was amazing. We followed that with the Madeira mushrooms- even if you’re not a mushroom fan you need to try this dish; it will change your mind! Finally we had the queso birria lasagna, which absolutely stole the show. It was such a flavorful and unique take on that dish. We will definitely be back."

"We had a great dining experience at Mother’s and our server was great. However- we were really taken aback by the wine list which had low end wines for high end prices. I am happy to pay for good wine, but a $14 grocery store bottle should not be $70+ on any menu. Go for the food though! We thought 2 dishes per person was plenty."
