"This was highly recommended by word of mouth and Google and I gotta say it didn’t disappoint! The vibe inside is grounded in the idea that it’s a coffee shop, which I really enjoy. All the products were well displayed and making everything in house…major points! Iced latte and an espresso to go…WOW! Amazing. Roasted there and serviced nicely! Service was prompt and very friendly! Best and coolest thing in my opinion was the growler of coffee to go and reasonable priced. This has become a must when visiting or returning!"

"First time stopping in to Valentine’s. It was a Saturday morning, and the Third Ward was bustling with activity. The coffee shop is on a busy corner with plenty of foot traffic. It’s a beautiful brick building with a welcoming entrance and large windows. Inside, there’s lots of natural light from the windows all around. You’re greeted by merchandise displays as you wait in line. Seating includes a few small tables for two and counter spots for individuals. It was a bit of a wait until I got to the cashier to place my order. I received a friendly greeting and some helpful guidance while ordering my favorite London Fog Tea Latte and a Chocolate Chip Scone. I sat at a small table while they steeped my tea and finished the drink. It took a little while for my beverage to come out, as there were other people ahead of me who had ordered beverages and custom food items (breakfast sandwiches, etc.). When the tea latte arrived, it was excellent — little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam. The scone was good too — dry and crumbly, like a scone should be — though I should have asked for it to be warmed. The noise level was a bit high, but with AirPods I was able to comfortably read my book. A lively but comfortable spot."

"Discovered this great coffee spot a little off the busy stretch of Broadway. Solid baristas (excellent Cortado, by the way) and a decent sized but simple breakfast menu with egg sandwiches, burritos, bagels etc. It’s a nice airy space with lotsa windows and tall wood ceilings, so a comfy spot to sit and work for awhile too."

"Lovely coffee shop in downtown MKE. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The prices were mid-range. 10 dollars for a veggie soy breakfast burrito, with the alternate choice of pork chorizo if you’d like. And my 16 oz iced latte was 5 dollars, if you want flavor it would be 0.75 cents extra. My total was $16.26. The portion size seems very small for the price, however the meal was filling. If I lived in the area, id definitely be a regular patron."
