"Fantastic place to grab a pint. Their hazy IPA "Smoke & Mirrors" was really good, so I got a howler size can to bring home (they have one of those mini canning machines at the bar. Beautiful wood interior and the most fantastic logo I have ever seen. On Thursdays the brewmaster is there and will chat about hops, travel, physics, and more. On Fridays there is live magic. It's just a block from the streetcar line. You can roll dice to select your beers for a flight."

"2025 Edit: Still great. Chris is lovely. Beer still very good. Company even better. Lovely atmosphere, great beer and a seltzer that is the perfect blend of refreshing and fruity. The accompanying pictures are of their Oktoberfest and one of their lighter beers which I of course cannot remember the name of right now. This place is sure to become a favorite. "Slipped in to grab a couple of midday beers (Maven Maibock for me, Secret Handshake for the wife) while visiting MKE for a comedy show and loved it enough to stop by the next day as well for a quick drink. The young lady behind the bar is amazingly nice (and has a suspiciously large knowledge of marble racing). Met one of the owners too and he was charming and very helpful in his recommendations for the area. These kinds of spots, with great staff, are why we like to stop by breweries whenever we visit new places."
