What People Are Saying
from Google"I have been to their other location in Milwaukee, but this was my first time visiting this one. Food: I don’t drink coffee, but I really enjoy tea, especially tea lattes like chai and London Fog. I know that traditional Yemeni coffee shops don’t usually make tea lattes, but I thought I would ask anyway, and the answer was no. I also wondered whether asking was culturally insensitive, given that tea lattes aren’t a Yemeni thing. I’ll let you decide. I do enjoy Adeni teas, and I ordered the saffron version with a little sugar. It was excellent. The flavors were rich and just sweet enough. They serve these teas very hot, so I’ve learned to let them cool a bit before drinking so I don’t scald my lips. I would have liked to try the honeycomb bread (khalat al Nahal), but they were out, which was disappointing. I did order the almond Danish instead, and that was excellent. Service: The service was friendly and efficient. The woman who took my order didn’t seem bothered by my interest in a tea latte, and when I asked about the honeycomb bread, she gave a sincere apology. My one complaint is that they display a sample piece in the counter, which gives the impression that it’s available. If it’s not actually offered, it would probably be better to remove the sample. Atmosphere: The interior space is amazing. They’ve taken about half of the Melrose restaurant and converted it into the Haraz Coffee House. You enter through the same door and then head right for the restaurant seating or left for the coffee shop. A see-through wooden partition allows you to see between the two spaces. The interior design is beautiful and relaxing. There were only a few small groups there during my visit, and it was very quiet. I actually think creating a separate coffee shop within a restaurant is a great idea. I would definitely come back."
"I had an amazing experience at Haraz Coffee in Oak Creek! The service was warm and friendly, and every drink I tried was delicious — especially the desserts, which were just perfect. The café itself is beautiful and luxurious, with such a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely my go-to coffee spot from now on! Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area"
"My new favorite Yemeni coffee shop in Milwaukee!! What makes it over the top is the atmosphere, service and quality of the coffee. We ordered a variety of drinks and sweets. Iced Haraz coffee was the fan favorite. All the sweets were very delicious, each with unique flavors but absolutely delicious!! Belgian Bear, Fruit moose cake, milk cake, and cheese cake is what we ordered. Our server, Murad was very sweet and kind. Will definitely be making more visits to this coffee shop, the location is prime, right off the highway and convenient."
"Had an amazing experience at this new Yemeni coffee shop! For a soft opening, the service was super fast and organized, which was really impressive. This was my third visit, and the drinks have been consistently great every time. The shop is family owned and has such a warm, welcoming energy. The staff are friendly and informative, and the pastries are incredible. you can tell they use top-quality ingredients. I’ve been to all the Yemeni coffee spots around, and this one definitely takes the cake. since it shares the same building as Melrose, I look forward to eat at Melrose for breakfast and enjoy their drinks and pastries with a good meal! Highly recommend you give them a try!"
"Went to the other Haraz in Oakland Ave and became an instant fan. This location is even more spacious and beautiful inside. Would be perfect for a date or special guests. They have an array of sweets and drinks. You can even order by the kettle here. The location is shared with Melrose restaurant. I would recommend it! Only minus is that they don't have the Dubai Cheesecake like at the other location."
