"What a great find… First time visiting dragon pit barbecue… With the warmest friendliest welcome… From the owner, Emerson… Who is so proud of the food product he serves… We both opted for the brisket… And incredible delicious choice… It was both lean and moist… And the flavor that was on the bark… I just ate it until I was done… I also got his fries with the special seasoning and it was incredible crispy and tender as you bid into them… My wife had a brisket as well save some for later tonight… And had some of the yummy delicious macaroni and cheese… You will love the atmosphere. It’s quiet and updated 18th century building location downtown Racine walkable to visit shops during this Christmas season… You will not be disappointed with your visit to this barbecue place. Hit the spot every taste bud kissed gently by the flavor not to much of a pork person so I said no but if u are I would assume it would be amazing. "First time visitor, long time follower. Was finally in downtown Racine around lunch time and ordered some wings and a jerk chicken sandwich to go. Both were incredible. Wings are smoked and off the bone tender. Jerk chicken has the perfect amount of heat pairing well with the mango. Even the bun held up to the level of standard. Great food all around. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely recommend."
