from Google"Diane and the rest of the floral design team are the loveliest bunch of ladies. They do absolutely amazing work! I picked up two garlands yesterday. Called this morning, asking if they had time to do another for me. Diane said, Absolutely! I thought it would be a few days. I couldn’t believe it when she called me at 4pm the same day, and said it was ready to be picked up. I absolutely love the Milaeger floral design team! Thank you ladies for making the holiday shine just a little bit brighter!"
"Incomparable selection of annuals. I found annuals I couldn't find anywhere else. Absolutely worth making a day trip. Prices are a little high, but absolutely worth it for the selection. Beautifully designed annual combination planters. If you're on a budget, shop their excellent selection of 3.5" annual pots, which don't include as many specialty items but still offer tons of great plants to choose from!"
"One of those "if you know, you know" places. Simply the best game in the area for plants, flowers, shrubs etc. A little more pricey than most of the local competition admittedly, but what you pay for here is quality. Their plants are in the best shape you'll find anywhere. It's a massive place too, with an overwhelming amount of choice, you could spend hours looking around. If you spend hours here, the small cafeteria does a grand job of taming the hangries. They also have a large shop with everything from small gifts to garden furniture. Staff are super helpful too. Be prepared for this place to be busy.... The locals know! Usually long lines at the checkout, but these go quickly. All in all, you can't do a lot better for garden centers in the area. Well worth a visit."
"I bought a table top Christmas tree in Nov. and paid over $65. for it. A branch fell off when I took it out of the bag to but it out and another branch on the other side fell off on Christmas Day. The quality of things are going down hill. I have had some of my house plants for years, but the last two plants(one was a gift) died after about a month. When I tossed them out, I saw there were very few roots. Sad because I liked shopping at the store and my family would often get me gift cards to use."
"I have loved Milaeger’s all of my life.. it started back in the late 70s when my Grandma would bring us to their Christmas Open House and they would have coffee and Kringle.. to the present day where I go for all my gardening needs. The quality of their greenhouse plants and summer flowers to the Greens of Christmas FAR surpass any other Garden Center that I’m aware of. ..and the addition of the Midwest Farmers Market on Sundays rain or shine and all year round is amazing…the gifts in the gallery are beautiful, as well. Also, I love that there are two stores in Racine."
