"I finally made it to Mrs. Betty's Kitchen. I've heard such great things, especially about the grits, and I was not disappointed. The grits were truly the best I've ever had, just like everyone said! The French toast, waffles, bacon, and fried chicken strips were so good. It's definitely going to be a new go-to spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, I'm looking forward to bringing my friends here."

"Whew 100/10! Let me just say—Betty’s Kitchen is THAT place. I went today and I’m still dreaming about the food. Everything was fresh, seasoned to perfection, and absolutely delicious. If comfort food had a home, it would be here. You have to try the pancakes—fluffy, buttery, and like nothing I’ve ever had before. The shrimp and grits? Chef’s kiss! And the fried green tomatoes took me straight back to my grandma’s kitchen. Every bite was full of flavor and love. Prepare to take a nap after you eat, because that food will have you full, happy, and completely satisfied. I will be telling everyone about it because it’s just that good. Highly, highly recommend! "This place is literally the definition of soul food. Food that warms your spirit and brings a smile to your face. We visited in a rainy early afternoon. The staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered the loaded shrimp and catfish grits combo and loaded catfish & grits. It was an explosion of flavor the right amount of savory. I was pleasantly surprised when we were able to try two specialty items (chicken sausage, greens). This restaurant was such a gem and unexpected for the area. 10/10 rating from a chi town girl. Oan the prices are very reasonable. If you are ever in the area or in the mood for a drive please stop by you won’t regret it."

"All I can say is “oh my, wow”. Happen to come in on a whim and had their chicken skillet and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The gravy is seasoned well and has a small kick, the tenders were homemade and HOT out of the fryer, with two perfectly cooked eggs. Sooo goooood! I’m coming back to try their shrimp n grits. And the service from Char was outstanding, she’s so polite and personable."
