"I got hooked on Wonderstate a few years ago through a COOP in Decorah. Been hooked and addicted to it since that day. Bag after bag it’s always the same consistency or better. I’ve tried many of their different roasts and every time I’m blown away. We order online or through our local grocery store (when they have it in stock). I might be the only one in Iowa or anywhere who loves them so much… that I got the logo tattooed on me. 🤷🏻😂 I can even say it is the best cups of coffee/beans I have ever had. A few months ago I had the privilege of meeting one of the owners Caleb while I was traveling through Viroqua. It was great to chat with him for that short time. I will say that Wonderstate has turned me into a “Specialty Coffee Addict”. So much so that while recently in Scotland and Germany for vacation we searched and walked miles to find specialty roasters in a few cities to bring samples home. They were all spectacular… but not as awesome as Wonderstate. 😂 Thank you Wonderstate for the Awesome Roasts we get every time."

"We've done three roast and ship orders with them over the last month and could not be happier. They roast on Mondays and Wednesdays and then the beans are in our mailbox on Thursdays or Saturdays respectively. Everything is pointing to us being long term customers for the following reasons 1) Roast to order, fresh beans are critical to the best cup of coffee possible, 2) Several organic choices always available to order on with what appears to be new varieties coming in regularly, 3) Lightning fast delivery, how it gets from WI to VA so quick is really awesome. 4) Best tasting coffee we've had yet, Kickapoo are clearly expert bean buyers and roasters!"

"I take my coffee pretty seriously. I blame this on Melbourne Australia. That city has really made coffee an art form. When I moved back to the states, I struggled to find a variety of good coffee. I am lucky I live in San Diego, as they have some coffee roasters that do also take coffee seriously, but I'm always looking to expand my options. In order to get a sample of coffees from across the US, I joined a coffee subscription that sends me a different coffee every so many weeks called Trade. The second coffee they sent me was Kickapoo Coffee Roastery's Organic Congo Muungano, single origin, natural processed, coffee. This coffee was fantastic! Juicy and Bright is the summary description and that is right on! This was definitely roasted right. It had that taste of sunshine, not overpowered by the bitterness of an over-roast and not grassy at all as some under-roasted coffee can be. I wanted more of this coffe, but Trade didn't have any. I then checked the Kickapoo website. They had more!!! I ordered a kg and will be checking back in with this site to see what other varieties they may happen to have. Bottom Line - These guys take coffee seriously and they handle the beans with expertise and care. I definitely recommend."
