"We LOVED our date night at the Chocolate Cafe! The Belgium drinking chocolate was warm rich and delicious 😋 The service at the counter was helpful and honest for selecting our options. There’s lots of fun things to pick here from pastries to chocolate to drinks. There’s also fun things like a table with a chessboard and other games. While you’re at it explore the whole mall that the cafe is in, an old building thats been hollowed out and filled with restaurants and shops. Enjoy your visit here, whether it’s short or long!"

"The Chocolate Café is a tiny gem hidden away by 3rd & Washington. The assortment of chocolates is amazing. The cocoa-latte will make you fall in love with the Belgian chocolate experience. Their window chairs add a visual ambiance, but sadly do not make for a comfortable seating arrangement that allows you to fully engage in your beverage or Cafe meal. The front display is very nice, but as a representative of a first entrance impression, the glass should be kept free of smears and prints. The service is very friendly and prompt and that calls for a required return to this place. Well done Chocolate Café, well done."

"We intended to stop at a known coffee shop nearby when we stumbled upon this beautiful hidden gem downtown Wausau. Immediately we were greeted by the owner with a smile and she knew we were newbies so she assisted us with the entire process from picking drinks, to telling us about the Belgian chocolates, and telling us the story of how her and her husband created this cafe and brought a little piece of love from Europe to Wausau. If you’re in the area, don’t pass this place up for a sweet treat, amazing drinks, and outstanding customer service 🤍"

"I haven’t had such a visceral reaction to coffee in a long time! When you take your first sip and go “OH MAN” you know you’ve got something! The mocha (cinnamon dusted no less) is a work of art for the eyes and the mouth! There’s not enough stars! The sample vanilla truffles we were served were creamy and dreamy. Melt in your mouth amazing, and I don’t even like vanilla. I absolutely have to come back and try some of the gelato flavors and they look creative and delicious. I think I might be working from here remotely on a regular basis ;) And awesome warm and friendly and fast customer service. I mean we truly felt welcomed."
