"love to see local coffee shops thrive, and I was hoping that K&K Barista would live up to its high ratings. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience when I stopped in on a Saturday morning. It’s a small place with cheerful blue paint on the outside, a couple of large front windows, and white awnings over each. Inside is a small area with a few tables and stools at the windows. The space felt cluttered, with portable air conditioners and a heater hanging from the ceiling, which made it feel disorganized and a bit uninviting. I was the only customer when I arrived. There’s a menu board on the wall behind the counter. I didn’t see my usual drink, but I was able to order a London Chai Latte. It was well made — hot, with extra foam. I would have liked to order a pastry, scone, croissant, or muffin, but the only options were a box of donuts and a jar of cookies. I know many people enjoy this place, and perhaps most customers stop in just to grab their coffee and go. However, I prefer a café where I can relax, enjoy a pastry, and read a book. For that kind of experience, this wasn’t a good fit. Overall, not the kind of coffee shop experience I look for."

"We were staying at the home2 down the street so I walked over to K&K for some coffee. The atmosphere was amazing and the service was great too. Would 100% recommend K&K Barista to anyone in the area looking for a great cup of coffee!"

"Drove by and the name caught my eye immediately! Always looking for new local coffee gems to try, I have to say that this little gem is easy on the eye, cozy, kid friendly (specially on Saturdays) and staff is friendly. I only stopped for coffee today (hazelnut latte) and it was flavorful. If you like your lattes strong definitely ask for an extra shot of espresso. Rewards card? Yes please! Not only do you get a free coffee after your tenth coffee, the best part is you don't have to wait for the tenth, you get 50% off when you get half way! Definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be coming back!"

"Great coffee and hospitality. We tried their seasonal carmel apple latte. It was divine. The owners are wonderful people. It’s great having an independent, black owned coffee shop just blocks from our house. We’ll definitely be back! P.S. ignore the snobbish review from Scott W. It’s an old building and a fledgling business, what do you expect? He complained about a portable air conditioner and heater. It’s better than no climate control."
