"The atmosphere of this place is phenomenal indoors and out. By the edge of the Fox River, it is very welcoming with Adirondack chairs, a fire pit, even some picnic tables available. Inside it is very tastefully decorated. The service was delightful and I really enjoyed my tangerine ginger tea! They have on a lot of different flavors of tea which I appreciate. I'm sure their coffee is good as well. I can't speak to the food, but I saw a lot of tasty things on other people's tables."

"This place is amazing! We drove past about a year ago and said “We should go there sometime.” Today was that day, we drove over 30 mins and would definitely do so again. The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming. There are separate rooms so it seems very intimate while also feeling comfortable. The barista recommended the matcha and I am so glad they did. Will be back for sure!"

"This is my favorite local spot. The baristas are truly the best—they are so nice and respectful, always receiving me with a friendly smile at the front. "I have an impression of what a coffee house should look, smell and feel like. And this place comes as closer to that perfect image than as any I've visited. This place is slathered in old wood, tin and comfortable upholstered chairs as well as gas fireplaces. Just enough Natural light fills the rooms. Just lovely. The coffee is not cheap but it is superb. The jazz like music playing was very pleasant but not loud. Plenty of places to sit. There's a nice view of the Fox river and in warmer seasons you can enjoy your coffee outdoors. We tried a bagel which was a great value. Parking is very convenient. I will be back and I will spread the word. One other thing. The great room(tin ceiling) is quite noisy. Even with ony a few tables occupied. I find it less relaxing. I really liked the relaxing jazz music but it's not playing most of the time."
