from Google"What a delightful find in the Capitol Market. Just spending a day in Charleston, passing through from Pittsburgh to Asheville, and we were looking for interesting things to see and places to eat. We happened upon this market, which is electic combination of produce and fruit, and inside stores full of various food and other items for sale. This restaurant is inside the building. The fish and chips that I had were top rate. They hand dip their own cod in beer batter and it is delicious. It came with an ample portion of fries. The tartar sauce was also very good and malt vinegar was available. My wife had a hot dog which she really liked - it was a Nathan's - and It came with chips. Seating was also okay. It was a nice and unexpected find!"
"12/28/25 Went with my family- I ordered the Cali Club with a side of corn. This sandwich was so good, I haven’t stopped talking about it. We had a visitor from Georgia and wanted to take her to lunch at Sohos but honestly, this was soooo much better. The garlic truffle fries were absolutely banger. Husband got the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese and he loved it. Our visitor got the Philly, and everything was on point. Awesome to stumble upon and happy to make it to my favorite spot list."
"Brisket tacos are amazing! The turkey club is excellent and the Tri-tip Philly is an amazing spin on a classic! As far a sides the fries are always on point and the buffalo chicken macn'cheese is some of the best I've ever had!"
"I have enjoyed their other location for years when golfing but the market location is more than often a miss. Somehow the food is flavorless and way too salty (fries inedible because of how much salt). Their chicken is very very dry and the mac n cheese is bland and just not good. You get a tiny little ramekin of a few bites for $4! The counter is filthy and sticky and on my visit the lady working did her makeup right there by the food she was chopping. The hot dogs are good but after a handful of very expensive very mediocre food, we'll pass."
