"While visiting WVA my wife and I stopped by the Capitol Market in Charleston to see what it was all about. This was our first time at Capitol Market and I haven't seen anything like this out west where I live so, it was a new experience for us. We met a very nice cashier lady named Kay that held on to are items while we shopped around. She was kind, and very helpful and we appreciated her. The market was very impressive inside and out with so many beautiful things and food, wine, seafood restaurants and coffee shops there is something there for every occasion and taste. The prices, the service, the employees and the food was awesome! To the Vendor Teresa, at the outdoor market that sells the metal stamped yard ornaments ( BEE HAPPY ). Thank You for locating and holding on to our items that I left at your counter, we appreciate your attentiveness, honesty, and kindness you've shown. Thank You, We Had a Great Experience!"

"The root of transportation, once the main hub for railway in the 1900’s , today a market for local farmers and venders. Be sure to purchase some Halls chocolate locally made in W. V. Very smooth and creamy. I had the smash burger for lunch, It was amazing."

"Neat place to shop and grab a meal or treat. Went in the winter and it felt cozy and warm. Looks like it would have a nice selection of produce in the summer due to the outdoor area."

"Wonderful place with a huge variety of food, wine and gifts for everyone’s taste. Also they are selling Christmas trees and decorations on yard next to it. I’d recommend visiting during a holiday season to do some shopping or just to come by for souvenirs if you are tourist."

"Very nice farmer's market. We had a nice copy hours there including a lunch at SoHo. The market is well room and has enough booths to make it worth a trip downtown. There was live music the day we were there and overall a nice chill vibe. Recommend walking to the bookstore nearby as well, there's a nice renovated area to have a relaxing moment on a street side table."
