"I was here for vacation and it just so happened to be during the cycling races. Charleston has a very cute old world charm to it. Very clean. It was sad to see the mall and a few empty stores, but what small or large town doesn’t have that? The people were all very friendly. Lots of events happening while I was there. The only complaint I would have is I am from the West Coast and Charleston not so much. The coffee shop in the library was delicious and affordable though."

"Nicely restored Victorian architecture. Many restaurants and bars. After 5 the municipal parking garages are free. Hard to find on-street parking."
