from Google"I will eat anywhere that has eggs Benedict. These were really good also. It’s like walking back in town when you step foot in here and that’s the point of any good diner. Eating and seeing the same things our parents and grandparents ate all Theo years ago. The staff were friendly and our server was great. They are active also and super attentive. I wanted to try more but was too full so I will have to stop in again but there is plenty to try. We need more breakfast places in Charleston so I plan on supporting this to the best of my ability!"
"Slow but friendly service and ok food. On a rare Sunday without our little one, my husband and I decided we would enjoy a rare brunch date. I had been wanting to try the QD since they reopened back in the fall of 2024, but hadn’t made it there yet. I am so happy we didn’t have our son, he wouldn’t have made it with the long wait times for food. The place was packed and our waitress was nice and friendly, but it took forever to get our food, and when we did mine was burnt and missing ingredients; not a pepper to be found. I ordered the kielbasa plate and my husband ordered the eggs Benedict. He said his was ok, not bad but not great. He wished it came with more hollandaise. Mine had burnt kielbasa that I did point out to the waitress but at that point we had been there so long I told her not to worry about it. Not once did I encounter a pepper in my dish either. The bubble waffle was decent. Probably a good option for kids. Overall it was an ok breakfast, but nothing to write home about and certainly not worth the price. Nearly $50 for breakfast; yikes."
"The menu was limited. The food was not from scratch. My husband had biscuits and gravy- he said it tasted like the gravy came from a can and the biscuits were reheated. I had eggs Benedict and it appeared the hollandaise sauce was also from a can. It wasn’t bad; however, the hollandaise sauce was cold. Would have been tasty had that been warm. I was excited to go but I do not believe we will return."
"Breakfast was good, a little on the pricey side for what you get. Service was a tad slow. Waited 10mins after plates were picked up to receive my bill. Food was good, bubble waffle was very dense and tough but did have good flavor. Egg skillet was good, large portion, instead of diced fried potatoes it was just wedge potatoe fires, meh."
"After constantly complaining about not having enough great breakfast spots in Charleston, Quarrier Diner has re-opened its doors and stolen my heart! Everything was absolutely delicious from the perfectly poached eggs on our Benedict to the fun and yummy texture of their signature “bubble waffles”. Not to mention, the 50s style ambiance and service that made us feel like family brought everything up to the next level. We will be back 100x over! I’m so happy you all brought back this historic little spot."
