"This place is filthy and there are little flying bugs around the buffet area. Rotting food in all the crevices around the plates and bowl. Sticky floors and ontop of that we were seated and nobody let our waitress know. Needless to say say I will never eat here again! I'll feel blessed if I don't get food poisoning. My wife picked up a bowl to put pie into and once she got to the table she noticed how filthy the rim of the bowl was. See the attached photo. Boo!"

"What a great experience! I haven't been to Shoney's in years and this was my husband's first time ever, and it was wonderful! We were greeted first thing inside the door by a very friendly young man, and our waitress was an absolute gem 🤗Everyone that we encountered was super friendly and helpful and the team stocking the buffet was really on their game. The food was fresh and hot and we ate until we couldn't eat anymore 😋 thank you for being just as awesome as I remember from all those years ago and giving my husband a great first meal too.We will be back every time we drive through!"

"Super close to the interstate & gasoline! Holiday Inn & Courtyard Marriott within 2 minute walk! Fully stocked salad bar-comfort food-feature of the day and desserts! Wide variety of menu selections and kids menu. Super kind staff & very clean restrooms. Nostalgic & super nifty to support a 60 year old or more concept. Was locally started and still thriving. Adorable gift shop area for tourist and great for gifts! Pies ready for purchase. Some fun games for the kiddos. Only thing missing was some ambiance music. Our server Jessica was attentive and quick. The buffet was replenished often. Close to the Charleston Coliseum for shows and the downtown is within moments. Go support some home style Americana! Loved it!"

"I have ate here many many times. The service I received is second to none! The staff is very pleasant and always checking on you. The most important is the bar remains stocked with fresh products and they are always clean. If someone has a bad experience here at this location makes me wonder what kind of person they are as some people aren’t happy lol and just like to complain. "Omg this place is disgustingly gross! Do not eat here ! First off I wanted a Coke my husband a Mountain Dew they didn’t have either someone was getting them, so they ask if we wanted something else I said Dr Pepper, my husband, sweet tea, Dr Pepper with sugar water disgusting we had the buffet bar. I couldn’t find nothing that didn’t look like if I ate it I was gonna get food poisoning . The pork look like somebody’s lung that smoked. The spaghetti noodles were dry and the sauce look like red water.. By this time, my stomach was in knots I was disgusted so I got three hush puppies and a roll. I could only manage to eat one burnt hush puppy. It was like too cold. I didn’t even eat the other two hush puppies or the roll the Dr Pepper. I took one drink and I was done by this time. My stomach was in knots needless to say we had paid the 24 something. Because I had a plate the most expensive one hush puppy burnt mind You I’ve ever ate save your money go to Wendy’s right beside of it"
