What People Are Saying
from Google"this is one of my favorite coffee shops EVER!! the works are SO friendly and very sociable. they were also very helpful in helping me make up my mind of what to order. my bagel was out in 2 minutes and so was my drink. very cleanly and overall a great place to be."
"I decided to drive here from Charleston on a Saturday afternoon after hearing a few people talk about it :) The Boutique is really cute and they have a lot of fun items to browse through while you wait for your coffee (which took 10 minutes for 2 lattes and no other customers). As far as espresso goes, they don't have a commercial espresso machine. Is that a bad thing? Depends on who you ask. What they do have are 2 small, home kitchen espresso machines identical to the one I have at my own home! Needless to say, I was pretty shocked by this. Machines like that aren't meant for commercial use. I mean.. they take a long time to heat up, they don't hold very many beans, and it's just really inconvenient... especially if they would get busy! I can foresee a lot of impatient customers :/ The drinks weren't bad, though. The espresso taste was prominent, which I prefer. I want to taste the espresso as much as I want to taste the flavoring! But the caramel latte I got was lacking sweetness. I don't like my coffee too sweet, but this one was just VERY coffee-forward and kind of bitter. For the price, I was expecting a true espresso machine to be used... but maybe I'm just being picky? But like, I have the same machine they use in my own kitchen.. so, needless to say, I'm not going to be making the trip out there again. But if I'm in the area? Sure! It was good enough to support again if I'm ever close by. As for the service, the two young girls working the counter weren't particularly sociable, but they were nice enough! Anyway, is it good? I'd say it's average. Is it worth the trip from Charleston? Not particularly. So, 3/5 stars seems fair to me! Not bad, not great. What really matters is if you're a coffee snob or just someone who likes a sweet treat. They have a TON of flavoring options and a TON of fun drink options. I want to try some of their more fun drinks, but my standard go-to when I try a new cafe is just a simple flavored latte, so that's what I went with! If you try it out, I hope you enjoy it! I love the variety of drinks they offer :) As someone who works out a lot, I also appreciate that they have some Clear Whey drinks now. I might give that a go one day! To the owners: I wish you the best of luck! Your cafe and boutique are very nice :D"
"The girls always greet you when you walk in they are friendly and super nice. The drinks are always so good. Waters, teas, coffee or frappes. You can not go wrong."
"Fox Coffee Co. is just what Clendenin needed! The service is awesome and their coffee is amazing. I highly recommend an iced latte. They have a ton of options including sugar free. They even made my dog a pup cup since we were on our way to the vet. You can also shop around while you wait on your coffee."
"Grabbed a coffee before heading out to New River Gorge and it was fantastic! Trying to figure out how to make this at home with our little espresso maker. LOL If we get to hit Clendenin again, we will stop for sure! ~ I should add, we both had a hot latte."
