"Bask has been on my radar since it opened and our 1st visit was memorable. The food was superb. We started with the Rangoon Dip and loved it. I opted for the Pastrami sandwich and I would say it's the best Pastrami I have eaten. It was smoky, tender, sliced thick, and piled high on the sandwich. The rest of the table had a burger and pulled pork. Everyone raved about the quality of the food. The serving sizes were generous. Our server, Ryan was awesome. He knew the menu well and was attentive to our table. I will add that Bask features several local beers options from Bad Shepherd and Koerber. This is another great food option for Huntington."

"The service was amazing the food was great! We both got the pulled pork! The slaw was a little dry the pork was great little dry on the thicker pieces. We got to try all the sauces and they were all very nice! The fries and bread was delicious! The waiter was the best we’ve had in a very long time! The atmosphere was very nice!"

"Food was very good, but not quite something I’d personally rank in a top 5—especially considering the price. The menu has a great selection with plenty of options. I shared the 3n3, which includes three meats, three sides, and three sauces for $33. We tried the pimento cheese sausage, smoked turkey, and St. Louis–style pork ribs. The smoked turkey was decent but left a little to be desired; it was slightly dry compared to places like Buddy’s just down the road. Overall, for the portion size and quality, the price felt a bit high. For $33, I expected to be more surprised—but maybe I’m just spoiled. Service was solid. Our waiter checked on us regularly without being overbearing. My water sat empty for a good while. The wait time from ordering to receiving food was a little long, though I was part of a group of four and may have just been extra hungry. Atmosphere was clean and better than most, but it gave off a slightly dated millennial burger-chain vibe if I’m being honest. That said, the overall experience was good, and I would eat here again."

"My husband and I stayed at a nearby hotel and ended up deciding to try this place out for lunch on Saturday. We peeked in first to check out the atmosphere and make sure they had some TVs (watching college football was a priority of ours🏈). This place is apparently fairly new and upon walking in, we knew it was exactly what we were looking for…great atmosphere, amazing menu and incredible staff! We decided to sit at the bar where there are two large TVs. I did notice they had a few other TVs spread throughout the restaurant too. Alex was our bartender/server and she was amazing! Right away they changed the TV to the college game we were looking for and before we even perused the menu, Alex was offering up suggestions for us to check out. Apparently coming in on Saturday at lunch is prime time cause they are a smokehouse (we are from Texas, so we understand the concept…when the meat is gone, it’s gone!) So read the details in the menu (pic posted) if you want a bigger selection of delicious meats! Lucky for us, everything was available and we ordered the two suggestions Alex gave us, the Dino Ribs and Brisket (under “Weekend Meats”). But, before that, I looked over their cocktail menu….and I’m a tequila girl that loves a good specialty cocktail! I loved their unique fresh cocktail/mocktail options! First, I got the Watermelon Rodeo …which I LOVED! I also tried the Rattlesnake on the Prairie which was also fabulous! My husband got the Lassie Lemonade with Tito’s and he was very happy as well. Neither of us like our drinks too sweet, and these were not…they were fresh and so good! But our smoked meat was definitely the highlight!! I mean, the Dino Rib was INCREDIBLE! My husband is a true carnivore, and he was in absolute heaven! I couldn’t recommend the Dino Rib more, it was so good! And it really is big! We also shared a 1/2 lb of brisket…it was a lot of meat, and we both ended up skipping dinner cause we were still full from eating all of it! It was just so good! Alex let us sample some of the sauces as well, and we both loved the Texas Hot BBQ and House Red. I literally couldn’t recommend this place more! If we lived in the area, I’m sure we’d be there every week! Go check it out!! And say HI to Alex for us ☺️"

"My wife and I came into Bask this afternoon to give it a try, and wow. To say you get fast service with excellent food for a great price about this place is like stating the sky is blue. It becomes common knowledge the minute you look around. The last time we had any barbecue worthy of bragging over like this from Huntington came out of Ribfest 2025; they weren't even from here. Now, we have Bask. The sides are excellent enough to order alone, and they are made fresh. You can taste the real ingredients instantly. You know the mashed potatoes are real, and the pepper gravy is smooth and savory. Whoever made the bacon kale was raised right because they knew how to cook them. Actually, the whole place was that good. It was like your granny coming back from the grave to cook you one last treat before she had to go cook for Jesus the food is so fresh. The slaw, the wings, the pickled veggies... oh my. And the sauces for the meats. Not necessary, but so worthy of the meats. It's rare to find a place who has sauces that can rival the goodness of the meat flavor. Usually you get really good meat with meh sauces. This isn't that. This is going to be our new go-to place before it gets discovered and gets so busy we can't get a seat. We'll enjoy it while we can! Especially since they have so much room for parties and catering... any boss would win boss of the year for taking their team there. They met us with perfection every category. My wife's only complaint was her stomach ran out of room."
