from Google"This place really brings the Louisiana bayou style cooking to the north. Stopped in there and had some gumbo and jambalaya as well as their banana pudding. Let me tell you that I had zero complaint I was quite literally 100% satisfied. The food tasted amazing every bit of it. I will definitely be back. They had a good bit of service coming and going as well as pick up orders for food to be delivered. My wife which doesn't like gumbo style foods tried it and really enjoyed both the gumbo and even more the jambalaya. Gumbo is a little bit thicker and jambalaya is a little bit more soupy but I will tell you both amazing!! Please go check them out. They are a hidden gym inside this square but definitely worth going to they are just before TAPS. It's a little bit of a small place so I would like to see them get a larger room for better seating which is the only con to this amazing place that I didn't realize was here."
"Take my dad to this cool spot occasionally (he lived in Louisiana once upon a time). Most recent visit was last week before an MU basketball game. They had a nice dinner crowd. The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is cool and the food is really, really good. My favorite is the Shrimp Etouffee over rice - delicious. Highly recommend."
"Please forgive the picture of the snapper in a to-go container on their table. We needed to take the food back to Morgantown, so we ordered it to-go but ate some before we left. In short, this was the best Cajun food I have ever tasted. My wife and I were traveling back to Morgantown from Huntington, and despite my objection, she wanted to stop here. I am not a Cajun guy. We arrived shortly before they closed, and both women were nice as could be. We tried the shrimp étouffée and snapper étouffée, both on rice, along with the chicken sausage gumbo. The food was served nice and hot, the flavors of everything were wonderful, and I am thankful I saved the rest of the snapper for tonight. I am still not a Cajun guy, but I will follow my wife’s lead here and will make this our stop when we visit Huntington again. It is just too good. For the friendliness and wonderful food, my wife and I highly recommend this place."
"Crawfish bread was outstanding- the jambalaya we more than excellent! The lady taking orders and waiting on us was super sweet and welcoming! A hidden gem that is not to be missed! Small spot with outside and inside seating."
"I took my friends here for the first time and we got so much food to try, it was amazing! Everything was a 10/10 and we have talked about it all day. Staff was incredible and very kind, they went above and beyond."
