"I'm a big boy and I couldn't finish the $15 chicken tray if I had to. I think we got a little extra love with the BBQ sauce and chicken too, though. The pulled pork was TENDER and JUICY; the mac and cheese had them herbs and a CREAMY cheese component that had a fantastic texture and seasoned well with some herbs; and the green beans came right out of mawmaw's house. This may be a minor thing to most but it is a detail that I really, really appreciated. A small plastic container with a lid was placed in the main compartment of the pulled pork that raised the bun up out of the juices so my bread wasn't waterlogged by the time I got back to the office. Ain't nobody want soggy buns. The only complaint I have might be of my own doing, but I expected there to be a bigger emphasis on BBQ/smoky flavor. The food was really good, but I just didn't get all the smoke flavor I was expecting. But, then again, it's Soul Food Twist, not BBQ Twist. We were fully prepared to kill our co-worker if SFT didn't deliver on the hype (or at least revoke her lunch suggestion privileges) but she's safe! For now. lol"

"This lady knows her way around a kitchen. The food is amazing and plenty of it for your money. I had the bbq meatloaf, mac n cheese, collard greens and corn bread, let me tell you it was on point. Everyone needs to try the food. Thank you"

"Well, since we can't make simple suggestions for food improvement on her Facebook page due to getting blocked by her, I will post here instead. FYI, she also has other pages on Facebook, look up Joanna Williams in West Virginia. The food plates looks horrendous. Food items are placed sloppy on the plates and combinations don't go together at all. She constantly mentions new spring and summer dishes, but we never see spring or summer menu items posted. Based upon customers comments especially the disheartening situation where she didn't show up to cater a couple's wedding, it prompted me to further look into who the owner is of this establishment. While I will not post her public conduct/actions in the local grocery stores, just know that if you are paying to eat her food, you must be desperate or have one tough stomach!"
