"Tl;dr I didn't have the ideal experience here, but it was still exceptional. I had a flat tire on my way into Huntington for a show, which cut my time to enjoy the city down from four hours to less than one. Our initial stop for dinner put us on a wait list and then forgot us. We stopped into the market that has Taqueria 84 as a last ditch effort to get something we could shove in our mouths as we sprinted to the Keith Albee Theatre. My heavens, Taqueria 84 was the Great find of our trip. The gentleman taking orders was handling the rush in such a kind manner. And the quesadillas? Hands down some of the best we have ever had. I had the mushroom quesadilla on the flour tortilla, and I realized that I'd gotten so used to the obviously canned button mushroom slices of my local quesadilla places that the hearty portobello slices here were mind blowing. My spouse had the pastor quesadilla on corn tortillas and loved it just as much. Sincerely, thank you Taqueria 84. You saved our Candlenights with your delicious, hearty quesadillas."

"I can't explain the deliciousness of Taqueria 84 in words. You'll just have to go there and taste it for yourself. I have never had a bad meal from here. The staff is courteous and helpful and the prices aren't bad. I'd give it 7/5 stars if I could. You will NOT be disappointed."

"Definitely good Mexican food. The Birria taco had fantastic seasoning and the carne Asada in the torta was delicious. Was not the biggest fan of the bread used for the torta but it was still good. Highly recommend stopping by and getting a bite. The horchata was good too."

"This was the best Mexican I ever had or will ever have. The chip…. you just can’t understand how they are on another level. They are a different recipe. The chicken in my nachos, so tender. And the chips did not get soggy in the nachos as if I order nachos at other Mexican restaurants, I always ask for my chips to come on the side. That’s just not even necessary here. Portion for the money outstanding. I swear, in my own mind,the only reason this restaurant doesn’t have 5 stars across the board is because the setup is just different. And I get that because it’s like ordering at a fast food restaurant setup and food is delivered as such. Again, the food, I’ll tell everyone I know about it. Anytime I want Mexican, I’ll travel the hour to go here. 100% worth it."

"I'm not a huge Mexican food fan, but this place is pretty good. Quick, fresh,and your food is hot!!! The corn tortillas are pretty good, but like I stated, I'm not a huge fan of this type of food, but I do recommend it!! Staff was great, and friendly. Great portions for your money as well!!!"
