"I’ve avoided eating at IHOP for years because no matter where they never cook bacon the way I like it “Crispy but Not Burnt”. So I get a happy birthday $10 gift card from the closest IHOP. I’m willing to give it another try. So we go to the restaurant and after some confusion as to where the front door is we are seated and check out the menu. First impression is that there are a lot of reasonable prices. I’m attracted to the steak omelette and my wife to the fruit crepe combo. We ordered both and both got hash brown potatoes. She got bacon as well. My omelette was very good and more than I could eat. Her crepes were very good. However her bacon was undercooked. She sent it back and the next batch was a bit burnt but eatable. Hash browns were good. All in all an OK experience. Just don’t order bacon. We will probably go back and order what IHOP does well and avoid what they don’t. Servers are very nice and helpful. Cost is reasonable. They do know how to cook eggs. IHOP typically adds a small amount of pancake batter to their scrambled eggs and omelets to make them fluffier and more voluminous, though this may not be the case for every location or for specifically requested "cracked" or "shell" eggs. The batter provides structure and lift due to its leavening agents, and it also contains gluten, which is a consideration for those with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities."

"Waited 20 minutes just to be greeted by server. Then waited 40 for some pancakes and two sandwiches. A couple came in about 30 minutes after and was nearly done with their food by the time we got ours. Only saw our server twice. We were placed in a horrible spot behind the DoorDash pickup and by the front door, but couldn’t ask to move because no one was around for 20 minutes like I said. Food was decent but service sucked."

"Me and fiance first time being at this IHOP location. The food was really good, not busy at all, and like to give a shout out to an amazing waitress Cora J. She is very good at what she does and very friendly to talk to. Definitely will be coming back to this location once in the area again."

"We got the veggie pesto white omelettes that were amazing! This healthy option had sliced avocados, mushrooms, and tomatoes! The warm green tea was a comfort on a snowy day! The service was exceptional on New Year’s Day! Very friendly sincere staff. Loved the Mountaineer team spirit! Conveniently located, and plenty of parking. This location is brilliantly situated near West Virginia University with long hours to serve hungry students! We definitely would recommend this IHOP!"
