"Looking to grab a bite to eat before heading to the backyard brawl, my dad, my husband, and I made our way to Rising Creek. Out of towners, be warned – the other location of Rising Creek (on GPS) is no longer an actual restaurant, but simply makes and ships their bread. We made that mistake, without checking their website, and drove to the other location first. All of that aside, we still arrived at their second location with plenty of time to eat before heading to the football game. I ordered a simple omelette with sautéed peppers, onions and cheese while my dad and my husband decided to try their salt bread with gravy and eggs (think biscuits and gravy but instead of biscuits, it was their infamous salt bread). The omelette was tasty, but nothing special - the type of omelette I could easily make it home. My dad and my husband felt the same about their “biscuits” and gravy and eggs. The service was friendly and the girl was very kind and attentive. The space is simple and non-descriptive. So if you are looking for a bite to eat and find yourself near the campus, come see for yourself."

"I came to this quaint place after visiting Rising Creek Bakery. The location is good for Morgantown, WV but it is hard to see from the street. An outstanding place with great drinks. I needed a suggestion for a drink and was told the Brown Sugar Cinnamon latte would be a great choice by Myah. Apparently she has fun getting people addicted to this drink (just joking), but it is a great drink, and I will have one or two more today. If you are in the Star City area, or not, it is a great place to relax and enjoy your favorite coffee drink. I will spend my allowance/paycheck/bank account here!"

"They’re very disorganized. The guy at the counter keeps taking orders instead of pausing and actually making them. Take order, make them. Take order, make them. Don’t just keep racking up the orders without preparing them. I ordered a simple coffee and I had to wait until he went through the whole line before my coffee got to be made. Also, they need more sugar free syrups. They literally taste the same as regular. Most people don’t want to waste their daily calories on syrups when you can have sugar free instead."

"My daughter and I went this morning for breakfast. The service was excellent! The women in there were kind and very knowledgeable about their menu. The toast with sausage gravy and the breakfast sandwich are must haves!! Also, mint oreo and white chocolate raspberry gelato are both delicious. The winner was the blackberry marscapone Gelato FOR SURE, though. Lots of sugar free options for coffee drinks as well. We tried salt rising bread for the first time. It has such a unique flavor. A wonderful crunchy texture too. We highly recommend this place. We will return again and again. Sadly, I have no photos to post due to the fact the yummy smells and just seeing the food be brought to our table made us dig right in! Awesome job 🔥"
