"Great Lunch Spot with a Fresh, Modern Feel I stopped by Café Rosé for lunch and really enjoyed the overall experience. The atmosphere is bright, open, and fresh — lots of soft pink tones, gold accents, and a relaxed modern vibe. It’s not really a bar, but they do serve alcohol, and I think adding a wine flight option would be a nice touch if they ever decide to expand their drink offerings. I had the Mushroom Melt, which was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. It came with a fruit cup that was sweet, colorful, and refreshing. I also tried the Espresso Martini — a bit sweet for my taste since I usually prefer something more espresso-forward and bitter, but it had a nice smoothness that I think came from Bailey’s Irish Cream. Heather, my server, was great — attentive and friendly. There was another waitress who seemed a little annoyed, but no judgment — everyone has off days. The owner actually brought my food out quickly, which I appreciated. She seemed a bit nervous, maybe because I was taking photos, but she was efficient and professional. Maybe not super chatty, but totally understandable given how busy they were. Overall, Café Rosé is a beautiful spot in Morgantown with great food, excellent service, and a really pleasant atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back."

"I requested a cake on December 19th for a retirement party on the 30th. Went over everything with the cupcake lady Heather and confirmed everything. The day before the party I went by to pay for the cake and the establishing it was close, I proceeded to call just to confirm the pick up for the next day for the three tier cake. Around 830 that night I get a text saying that they was not gonna be able to make the cake due to. She couldn’t get a hold of me. I was going back-and-forth with the Cupcake Lady Heather which she was very sweet and said I needed to get in contact with the owner after trying to get in contact with the owner by calling and Texting her she finally responded and said that she would make the cake this was on Monday night. I was due to pick the cake up on Tuesday morning, but we changed the time until 1 o’clock Tuesday. I get there on Tuesday at 12:45. The cake wasn’t done until 130 and it was nothing like what we had discussed and the was very dry and the price change tremendously I don’t mind paying for something if it’s what we discussed and I didn’t get what we discussed. The retirement party started at 2 and I’m rushing back in with the cake. My overall experience with ordering the cake with Heather was great, but I don’t think that Heather and her boss are all on the same page with the ordering process. This was my first experience with them and it wasn’t great. Hopefully they can get on the same page and it won’t happen to someone else."

"Very cute concept, nice ambiance and great drinks. The food however is abysmal. Which is sad because this is supposed to be a cafe and not a bar. The chef sent out two homemade biscuits that looked like a kid had messed up making small pancakes. I was truly shocked that a place that seemed so nice, actually had the audacity to service biscuits like that, gravy which you could taste the raw flour in and eggs benedict with solid yolk. All for a pretty high price for a morgantown cafe! I want to emphasize that the food was so bad that if I made something like that, I would be too embarrassed to let anyone eat it, let alone sell it to someone. I wish I took photos of the biscuits but the sad looking eggs is all I got. I really wanted to like this place given the ambiance and drinks. I have never been this disappointed at a restaurant. They really need to either hire a chef or send whoever is working in the kitchen to culinary school. Halfway decent food would make this a place I would visit again. But I’m not going back to a place where the food seemed to be made by someone pretending to play chef. I don’t normally write google reviews, especially not bad ones. I just genuinely want this place to do better so I can have tasty frosés with something to eat for brunch. Hope things change."

"Absolutely loved this hidden gem! I ordered avocado eggs Benedict with a side of hashbrowns for brunch. Everything was delicious! I got a red velvet cupcake which was very rich."
