What People Are Saying
from Google"We stopped in Parkerburg, and the staff a TownePlace recommended it. We tried it out, and everything was outstanding. The chicken breast with peppers and onions, baked potatoes salad, and bread was reasonably priced. Tasted great. With a nice glass of wine, our bill for two was under 50 dollars."
"Stopped here for dinner on way back home to Cleveland OH. Very clean, old school Italian restaurant - charming, vintage 1970’s decor with beautiful photo array of founders & generations of family. Food is definitely original recipes - simple menu options with decent amount of selections. Garlic bread was fresh, soft & delicious. Our table has house, cheese & antipasto salads to start. House vinaigrette & ranch dressings a must to try. We had for main entree’s spaghetti with meat sauce, spaghetti with meat sauce & meatballs + veal scallopini. Meat sauce was good but meatballs even better. The veal scallopini is made with red sauce & peppers not the expected wine sauce, mushrooms & capers. The staff is exceptional! Our server a young lady was a delight - made us feel welcome gave great suggestions & attentive. Many tables full but we were able to get table easily. Highly recommend if you’re in the area."
"A photographic walk into yesterday is placed perfectly to welcome customers to restaurant with a layout like home. Seating for large groups and intimate alike. Food is traditional Italian. The antipasta salad (with the house dressing) and the way they prepare the garlic bread sets Colombo's apart!"
"1st. Time very comfortable and clean. Food portions large. Nice quality wine. Garlic toast nice. Sauce best ever had. Greated by family as we entered was a personal touch."
"I was with a group of 9. I ordered meat sauce and mushrooms and penne. Was barely warm and had water oozing out of it. Very bland sauce. Took it home and heated it up and had to turn it to the side to try to drain the water out. Threw it away. Definitely not the old Colombo's. Ordered house salad with Italian dressing and had so much dressing the salad was just limp. Barely ate half of it. Waitress was nice though."
