"Seeing how high this establishment is rated, I made the 180 mile round trip to Sarah's On Main with pretty high expectations. Regretfully, I just don't understand what all the hype is about. I will say I've never had French toast in the form of sliced breadsticks before, and I appreciate the attempt at a unique take on the dish. The appreciation ended though when the dull knife provided couldn't cut through about half of the French toast because it was so tough even after soaking in an entire container of maple syrup for a while. The egg was just your ordinary egg with no seasoning whatsoever, which left the three little sausage links as the sole redeeming part of the meal. At least the wait staff were all friendly and the quaint establishment was in a nice part of town with ample street parking."

It really seems like a good place to enjoy your morning, brunch or, afternoon! The only thing that could be better is if they gave me the food for free, ha! TikTok's "Best in Wheeling" wasn't wrong!"
