What People Are Saying

"Let’s be clear—tacos are universally good. They’re my all-time favorite food. But not all tacos are created equal. Authentic Mexican street tacos speak a language I’m deeply fluent in, and I can tell you: mastery lies in restraint. Elevating a street taco with a gourmet sensibility—without tipping into excess or sloppiness—is a rare and admirable skill. The Gringo doesn’t just attempt that balance; he perfects it. His take on the street taco is nothing short of artistry. I’ve tasted everything on the menu, and I’ll say this with confidence—it’s absolutely worth your time, your money, and yes, even the wait. If you’re grumbling about 20 minutes in line, that’s not a reflection of the food—it’s a reflection of your expectations. Greatness takes time. You want something fast? Get a funnel cake. You want something unforgettable? Wait for the taco."

"A great place to grab a bite, there are seats with umbrellas, delicious and inexpensive, a nice guy named Zeke, well-mannered and not rude, he cooked food very quickly and deliciously together with his girlfriend Syfer, but I would recommend adding hot coffee to the menu, the cold is coming and drinking Sprite in this cold is not very pleasant"

"Have passed by this food a few times while visiting my dad. Finally got to stop and eat. Has a good variety on the menu. Food is cooked to order, so you may have to wait a bit. The meat on the tacos was juicy and good."

"This is not only the best tex-mex food truck we've ever had, but the best tex-mex in the area...considering we haven't tried EVERY tex-mex restaurant and we've eaten at a lot of great Tex-Mex outside "the valley" (e.g. Chili Verde Columbus, Pappasito's Atlanta, Mi Sombrero Sunbury, Tres Hombres Woodland Park CO), take that last compliment for what it's worth. That said, the food's not your typical copy-of-every-tex-mex-restaurant-you've-ever-eaten-at (aka ChiChi's). We had the Carne Asada Burrito and the Chicken Quesadilla with their "street corn". Both were fantastic. Well designed, constructed, and tasty. Just get past the food truck thing. You'll be happy you did. We are. I only rated the food as we ordered it via Door Dash."

"Had just gotten back from Aguascalientes Mexico when I stopped by here, The Gringo STILL served me the BEST tacos I’ve ever had. It’s an hour away from my college, and an hour back so two hours roundtrip? I still swing by this place atleast once a month cause it’s simply? The best. AND THEIR STEET CORN? Nacho Libre WISHES!"
