"I used to love this place, but my last few visits (both at the old location and at the new location) have been disappointing. This time, the service was slow and not very friendly, and the food was far worse than in the past. The sausage gravy had almost zero sausage in it, and the hash browns had such an odd taste that it made me look to see if the cook was smoking while making the food. The tabe was on a slant, so uneven and unleveled that it felt uncomfortable sitting there. Overall, this place has fallen from being my first choice for breakfast to now being a place I'll only go if better restaurants like Eggingtons and Sherry's Place are too busy to get a table."

"I enjoy the food at the wooden Derrick.My favorite burger is the shaleshaker I highly recommend it . "Good spot tucked away. I came in for breakfast with my kids and we were immediately greeted. I had the chicken fried steak, it’s breaded in house and you can tell. The kids breakfast are a great value at 6$. Service was good. Overall a good experience. We will be back!"
